Harold's Chicken Shack

When I went into this business, Harold’s Chicken on 91st Ashland in Chicago and the first thing I noticed was a sign that read, No Refunds. I ordered 6 wings and a large gizzard with mild sauce. When I got my order, I had wings a little bit bigger than the size of wings on a Cornish Hen. The bag was so light. The large gizzards had 6 pieces And it wasn’t even fresh. This Harold’s is the highest priced in the city I don’t mind spending money on quality food and the food quality is beyond subpar. I would not recommend this establishment. Not worth it at all. I support great establishments, but this wasn’t one of them. Maybe management need to re-establish and turn it around. If not, no one will support this business.

Purchased 4 wi gs dinner and when I tell you they were the worst ever,the wings were the size of a baby chi k.I always get disappointed when supporting the neighborhood business and that's really sad.

I ordered a 1/2 White ( 2 breasts and 2 wings + fries), and 2 1/2 dark ( 2 thighs and 2 legs + fries) meals The chicken was either just not cooked fresh, or cooked in old oil, because it looked old and dry and it somehow tasted both dry and greasy simultaneously, and wasn't crispy at all or fresh or hot... The crust was just so disappointing , with that hard layer on top of the chicken underneath the crust... And, the fries were definitely not fresh or tasty, they were hard on the tips, and soggy.. Even with the sauce, this meal was just awful..... I just feel that for nearly 14 dollars, for 4 pieces of chicken, that the quality control should be much better, such a waste of hard earned money...just disappointed.....

NEVER AGAIN WILL I SPIN MY MONEY AT THIS HAROLDS. THE STORY IS TO LONG, AND I'M TO UPSET AT THIS TIME. MAYBY I WILL COME BACK LATER AND TELL THE ENTIRE STORY. VERY UNHAPPY EX COUSTOMER.

make sure you request your coleslaw or else you won't get it. won't be going here again. wait was long chicken was cold.

The food was hot, fresh and delicious. The biscuits were Heavenly!!! Please don't change!!!!

Food was great today they can have they days sometimes but when it’s fresh they never fail but Y’all be hating on this Harold’s but always coming back to eat it too lol
