Harold’s Chicken

I think there are new owners. Customer services poor. Lots of young folks cooking and taking orders. Fries are soggy and the chicken isn't thoroughly cooked. Tastes wet the batter is juat about n raw form. Disappointed. I called to Gove feedback and she said come in not phone orders and hung up. I'm dissatisfied and won't be traveling out of my way any more. Quality decreased

Visting Chicago, I used to love this place !! Food is decent . But this This cashier, Ugly black lady was rude . Asked for hot peppers, and a large perch , with no extra lemon pepper please! Very nicely and she yelling !! DONT TELL ME WHAT YOU DONT WANT ON THE FISH !!! . I’m a paying customer, I am supposed to tell you what I do and don’t want on my food. I don’t like her service -200 and atmosphere-100, horrible service from her rude self. Not my fault you hate your job.

GOOD FOOD, BUT THE SERVICE IS GARBAGE.

Went into this location Friday after work around 1130 p. I didn’t eat anything that day, for 9 hrs-busy shift, I work as a nurse-scenario not uncommon.. $12+. for a six piece wing dinner with peppers. And waited 15-20 min for my food. I was so hungry, I got home my fries were semi- warm. Chicken hot ok temperature.. The first bite of chicken tasted funny. Thought maybe it’s the extra lemon pepper I requested . The chicken tasted refried-and was extra greasy. The next two days I’m sick to my stomach. Put on a strong face for my child’s bday on Saturday but absolutely sick to my stomach. I want this location to know not every customer coming in at night , has been drinking and partying. And every customer deserves freshly prepared food not just the celebrities, local or otherwise. The lady taking my order was pleasant, a real sweetheart. Still, I won’t be back and I’ll never eat at another Harold’s in Chicago as I was told this location was the best.

Love this Harold's Chicken because it's so close to the original recipe, and they stay open late. The food is made to order, so it's always fresh and hot. Service and staff are great.

So I went in on my lunch break. The older lady taking orders is very rude and needs a hearing aid. I ordered a 6 piece fried hard with mild sauce and salt and pepper took 1 hour to get my food.get back to work it's only 4 wings so sad. I call to let them know they said we will remake your order when you bring it back. Remind y'all I'm at work but I got to starve just because y'all didn't get my order right. I will not go back.
