Harmar Tavern

Stopped here while visiting the area back in March 2024. Found this restaurant on Trip Advisor where they were ranked #10 out of 50 restaurants in Marietta. It was a Sunday and not too many options were available so we decided to give it a try. Nestled back in an old neighborhood. It looked more like a local drinking spot at first glance. A lighted sign in the window advertising a bologna sandwich. Went inside and found a bustling bar with a few tables. Upon further inspection found that there was a secondary room with more tables. We picked a table in there with a window view looking back in at the bar. The waitress was very friendly and service was quick. Lots of variety on the menu and of course was a mention of their "Soon to be Famous Fried Bologna Sandwich" which sounded interesting but maybe save that for next time lol. I stayed conservative and got a grilled cheese sandwich and a bowl of cabbage sausage soup which was really good. We also shared an appetizer of bacon cheese fries which was also really good. Loved the local atmosphere, good food and great friendly service. Would definitely recommend a stop here.

Get your drank on with some of the coolest bartenders around. Food is affordable, and drink is too. Kind of dive, but it's a dive I'd dive into.

Been there many times and my experience has always been wonderful. Everyone is always so friendly and attentive. Great food! I was once married there on the back patio by our Mayor and we ended up having more guests than expected but the service we received was remarkable thank you Harmar Tavern and Spagnas for so many years of awesome, friendly and kind service, and many thank to Kevin & Kathy.

Your mushroom/Swiss burger was excellent!

Love the bologna sandwich!
