We LOVED Harken! One of the best coffee shops we've found in Charleston. The cold brew is great, the staff is very friendly, & the environment/atmosphere is amazing. Definitely recommend! ❤️

Really great food and coffees and reasonable pricing (25$ for 2 drinks AWESOME avocado Toast and a healthy serving of delicious quiche) in the most ideal atmosphere I’ve ever seen for a coffee shop. Only downside is the service is lacking the folks behind the counter are pretty rude and dismissive.

The food, drinks, and atmosphere were great. However the service left much to be desired. We went in and ordered three drinks & three pastries. They charged us for six drinks. When we went back to the counter the girl working the register said “Well, why didn’t you say something when you paid?” As if we were to blame. Mind you, it was a busy morning so we were just trying to get our coffees and go and didn’t notice the charge at first, but still they could have been nicer about it. And then when one member of our party went to grab a drink at the counter, the worker smacked her hand away as it wasn’t theirs… I think they could have been more polite and said that was not our drink, rather than smack her hand away. The food and drinks were good but we will not be back.

I love little spots like this. Pastries are the best and they also have a very nice albeit limited selection lunch service. Good coffee and great vibes.

You order at the counter as you enter and are called when it is ready. The pastry and Cappuccino we had this visit were spectacular. Although it was early, we were lucky to get the last available indoor table to enjoy our breakfast. The food offerings are good, and the architecture is just so Charleston. BTW, there is comfortable outdoor seating available alongside the establishment.
