Happy Malaysia Canteen

Got here today at 8.30 and ordered Nasi lemak with Mamak fried chicken, roti canal with curry, and teh tarik. All of them are delicious! Mango juice is just syrup with ice so that’s the only thing I wouldn’t order but it is still refreshing.

Nasi lemak without any meat starts off at $10. Add two pieces of fried chicken it jumps to $15. Tip and tax it jumps to $18.58. The rice was soggy. No menus, order at the kiosk or scan the QR code to pay by credit card or cash at the counter. Clean bathroom, but hand dryer doesn’t work. Quiet place on a Wednesday night.

Great little lunch spot ! The Roti Canai is slamming! The Tea Tarik is worth stopping for ! Nasi Lemak!!!

This place has sub par service and food. There is only one pos to order from card and you need to order a min if 20 usd. With tax added it will be around 25 usd. I decided to pay by cash and it was a bit confusing where I could pay. The manager quickly attended me when I stood near the kitchen. After paying, it took little more than 20 mins for my food to be given. I thought it was too long for a vegetable curry that should have been ideally prepared before hand. It seems like the manager was making the food for me from scratch. Either way, I would have appreciated a heads up as I wanted to receive and eat my food quickly. The meals are served in plastic bowls and plates.. The actual meal was lacking alot of flavor. The curry was too watery. In the end I was disappointed with the whole experience. I would not recommend this place.

Vegetarian options: Excellent food. Excellent ambience and customer service. My kids loved it here! We highly recommend it.

Restaurant had many vegan options. Food was okay. Prices were reasonable.

They started selling food with meat now! Options are limited, but very flavorful. And the staff are super nice and helpful. Will definitely return!
