Very nice place, excellent food and drink. Our sever was polite, and took care of us right away. Sea weed salad was tasty, my seafood tempura was delicious as well with tasty dipping sauces. Will defiantly go back when I get back in town in a couple of weeks
Solid sushi (for Colorado)... Pricing was good, service was fast and informal. Nice little place here. It's in a mall area, but plenty of parking nearby.
Disappointing, pitiful, flavorless, low-quality, waste of money. I stopped eating here a decade ago because the food is not good. The sushi taste and texture was of breading and rice. Tried it again in Jan. 15 2024, and it's even worse. Kid's noodle bowl: plain, no sauce, spice, or flavor. Had to dump soy sauce on it so the kiddo could eat. Thai lettuce wraps: There's no way this is Thai. Barely any chicken, and mostly what appears to be small- diced canned tomatoes and it indeed tastes like a watered down can of tomatoes. Served with a chili sauce, but not your standard offering at any Asian restaurant. Served with the heart of iceberg lettuce which was difficult to split into layers, definitely not suitable for lettuce wrap, and ended up stacking small chunks of lettuce. Spicy garlic edamame: Zero flavor, zero spice, zero sauce, zero garlic. Not even a hint of salt. The beans didn't even taste like your standard boiled bean. Just flavorless. We couldn't eat it. Coconut Crusted Halibut: it almost seemed that they got the crusted coconut flavor correct, but it was overcooked and rubbery, so it tasted like crunchy, rubbery bread. Couldn't cut the fish with a knife. Literally pulling it apart by hand like rubber. It's fish. Fish is supposed to be very easily pulled apart with a fork. Happy Hawaiian: AWFUL. The tiny amount of chicken were gross, slimy, fatty bits and gristle. Can't explain the sauce, but it's not a delightful blend of soy and pineapple. The veggies in the chicken were thin strips of onion, bell pepper, and carrot, but I couldn't differentiate flavors or textures. Then, for the side, they offer tempera veggies or stir-fried. We chose stir-fried because it is served with rice, and surely you wouldn't tempura fry super thin strips of bell pepper, so we figured there'd be veggie variety and a balance with the sauce. The side was literally the exact same mush of veggies that were already mixed with the chicken. They just put a serving of just the veggies on a different portion of the plate and threw in two pieces of completely flavorless broccoli. This whole meal tasted like bad canned food. Cleanliness: Gross. This place is pretty with a good ambiance, but the decor mounted on the wall just above the booth was some of the dustiest I've seen in a restaurant. Off-putting to say the least. Service: Not great. We asked for kids chopstick helpers, didn't get them. He ate the noodles by hand. The server came by a couple times and asked if we needed anything. We clearly were not eating much. When time to clear plates, she didn't ask how our food was or even notice that a lot of the food was untouched and we also didn't ask for boxes. She didn't ask if we wanted boxes either. We waited so that we could ask for a manager because the food was just so bad, but she just said let me grab those plates. We figured a review online would be better than even trying in store. We didn't see any visible manager on site. My teen ate the Rainbow Roll and potstickers, and had no complaints. But also agreed that the other offerings were terrible. The bill was $100 before tip, and we left a full and proper tip of 20% anyway. $120 later, we left hungry and completely disgusted.
