Happy Lamb Hot Pot, Boston

My favorite hotpot place to go to, can’t beat the price and quality!

Never had Hot pot before. Went with friends, got the basic meat selection and the best of both worlds broth. The chicken, beef, and lamb went really well with the spicy broth. The normal broth was just a far more bland version of the spicy broth, nothing special. However, in a restaurant that is primarily about speed, we could barely get any server's attention to order more food or broth. After almost filling up on endless spring rolls and fried rice at the buffet bar because no one came to check with us after we received only our first portions of meat, I got up and walked directly to our server and ordered more food. The food was a pleasant first hot pot experience. However, the service, or lackthereof makes me want to continue exploring hot pot elsewhere.

Amazing food! Be careful with the spicy, it was too much to handle. If you are familiar with this place; it’s a self serving for all topics. The service is good Vegetarian options: Lots of veggies option, but broth is bone broth

I had a terrible experience at Happy Lamb Hotpot in Boston, MA. Firstly, there was a severe lack of vegetarian options on the menu, making it difficult for me to find something to eat. Additionally, the prices were exorbitant for the quality of food served - it was simply not worth the cost. Furthermore, the food itself was subpar - tasteless and poorly prepared. It felt like I was eating boiled, bland food devoid of any flavor, rather than a decent meal. To make matters worse, the restaurant imposes a short time window for dine-in customers, adding unnecessary pressure and discomfort to the dining experience. Overall, I would not recommend Happy Lamb Hotpot to anyone. It's overpriced, lacks vegetarian options, and serves subpar food. Save your money and dine elsewhere for a better dining experience. Vegetarian options: Little to no vegetarian options - and the ones they have are terrible! Definitely not worth the price you're paying!!

We’ve been eating at this restaurant for the past couple years prior to them revamping. It’s been our #1 choice. Since they started AYCE, there is definitely more popularity and with that longer wait times. We expected that and had already put ourselves on the waitlist. Initially said 5 middle parties ahead of us on the waitlist app and we believed we would’ve had enough time to park and walk there. However, within 10 mins our table was ready which was unexpected considering there were 5 parties ahead. I didn’t get a phone call and the text said we had 10 mins before we were cancelled, it was cancelled within 5 mins. Upon arrival I spoke to the hostess who was rude and dismissive right off the bat and was literally waving us off. We ended up being sat, one of the servers wanted us to ordered ASAP and we hadn’t even sat down yet, so our friends had to decide quickly. I understand that things can get busy, but overall attitude and service was disappointing. Their broth is top tier, we never had a problem with their food.
