I’m always willing to be overly fair on all situations but this is still bothering me. I threw a baby shower here a few weeks ago and it was very upsetting when it came to close out. It was agreed that we could use this location as long as we hit a drink minimum. Emails with the owners wife and contract did not make any sense from what was even confirmed from the owner. This company requested us to pay double what was agreed to the minimum because we didn’t have enough people “drink” even though the agreed amount of people showed up per estimate. We estimated total attendance not the total on how much alcohol was going to be purchase per attendees. The owner told me he had to “compensate servers” when there was only 2 and being in the service industry no way they were getting paid what we paid. The owner used an excuse saying he lended us his whole show room but in all reality they needed to appreciate the business we brought because on a Saturday there really wasn’t any business besides us. I know a new desperate business owner when I see one.
I recently had an event here and spoke with the owners wife and the event coordinator multiple times prior to the event about the prices. However, once the day of the event came one of the male owners decided to charge us double the price of what was originally spoken for, from 2 other people. He insisted we paid over $2k for "estimated"80 ppl that "would" be drinking the day of the party, yet only 30 adults drank and that was prepaid 2 months before hand. After showing him proof of the 2 ladies conversation specifically stating no other charges would come about other than the amount I paid he still would not let us leave until payment was processed. He also tried to throw in my face that this $2k was for lending us the whole tap house, yet he still allowed random ppl in and out of my event. All the bartenders and event coordinator were so sweet but it is a real shame that this man decided to screw me over hundreds of dollars even though I had receipts of conversations. Unfortunately, I will not be bringing my business here ever again.
This brewery proved a fun extra stop next door to our original destination - here we enjoyed sampling our flights and appreciated some friendly banter with the cheery staff.
Great place, beer is good and staff is very friendly. Definitely recommend.
Passing through from Florida and wanted to find a local brewery. Absolutely hit the jack pot when deciding to come here! Despite being a warehouse it has a cozy and friendly vibe that easily draws you in. Got to meet one of the owners, and she was an absolute sweet heart. Had so much fun while trying the various beers time passed with no thought. Stunning views of the brewing room can be seen from the bar. Even left with one of their candles!!!
Great spot & great vibes!
I've been there about a half a dozen times now, and each time, the beertenders are super friendly, and more than happy to let you try whatever (and however many) different beers you want before settling on a decision, and I like several of their beers, especially the darker ones... Try the Friend of the Devil if you're not sure where to start. The space is also huge, with plenty of different types of comfortable seating, inside and out. Great for both small and large parties, and lots of different events all week.
Thoroughly enjoyed this brewery! It was fun to see the brew process through the large glass wall. We appreciate being able to enjoy live music and other events on the calendar. The food truck on site had a nice selection and was easy to order and pay. It's pet friendly and kid friendly. A nice addition to the Core District and to the area.
Love the atmosphere here. Weekdays have all the events to help you get through the week. Trivia every Wednesday to try and win some extra money.
