My mom's side is from Shandong, which is the origin of this homey authentic dumpling shop. Shandong is known for their noodle and flour-based dishes so I can tell how good this place is. You absolutely must get the Xian Cold Noodle - the noodle is so stretchy, thin and chewy, the sauce has the perfect balance of spicy and sour, and the cucumbers are always fresh and juicy! My boyfriend of Cantonese origin will absolutely destroy this dish whenever we come here. The dish is huge for 2 people and only $10! Then you must get the chive dumplings, or any dumpling on the menu. Shandong people are really generous when it comes to fillings so the fillings are so meaty! 12 hearty dumplings for $10? PLUUUUEEEEASE! Lastly get the lamb skewer - it's juicy and also big portioned. You won't regret it. Their soupy dishes are fine - I wouldn't say they are known for that, but their stretchy handmade noodles are good nevertheless.

The sesame noodles and meat wrap were my favorite among the things we ordered. The spicy squid was good, but salty, so we took it to go to finish at home in smaller portions.

May seem a little dirty or “sketchy” at first but once you enter and sit down it feels comforting and inviting. Service is very nice and fast. The food is very good all around, you could close your eyes and pick something at random and you would still enjoy it.

Me and my friends come here all the time. They have good food and I love that all of the noodles here are handmade. The owners really nice and friendly and makes good recommendations. Definitely a no frills restaurant only seats about 20 people. There’s a little booth and a window for you to watch them make their dumplings and bread. I honestly haven’t had anything bad here and the prices are very reasonable. I noticed this place has gotten a lot of popularity lately due to tik toks and IG posts and they definitely deserve it, I hope with that the quality doesn’t drop and the prices don’t skyrocket. Our favorites: E1. Xian cold noodles (5/5) - long and flat hand pulled noodles topped with cilantro mixed with a savory, tangy, and spicy sauce. Order it before they run out. E22. Special hot oil noodle (4.5/5) - noodles that come with woodear mushrooms and baby bok choy, garnished with a healthy amount of garlic and chili powder with vinegar. One of my favorites when I want something garlicky and spicy. B20. Wontons in red chili oil (5/5) - this one always hits. And it’s not too spicy but the flavor is always immaculate. A17. Lamb skewers (4.5/5) - really nice and tender pieces of lamb with cumin and chili powder. C2. Chicken chow mein (4.5/5) - if you want something non spicy then I recommend this dish. Comes with a huge portion for the price and the flavor is great. G2. Dry sautéed string beans (4/5) - a good and flavorful veggie dish.

This place is AMAZING. Speaking mandarin helps but you’ll be fine without it, too. The menu has English as well. The food is incredible, we loved everything we ordered from dumplings to noodles to spicy fish and spicy chicken. This is a hidden gem! Vegetarian options: There are good vegetarian dishes. The special spicy oil noodles and the egg and tomato noodles are also great.
