Hank's Catfish & BBQ

Best catfish I have had in years! (All you can eat for $16.99 on certain days)The hush puppies were perfect the coleslaw's delicious. My sister had ribs and they were fall off the bone tender and brisket cooked to perfection. Well definitely be going back.

I was delivering some stuff here from sysco . Pulled up the place smelled amazing. Met the owner Hank nice guy. Then I ordered some Greens.... wow amazing. Best tasting Greens I have ever had. 5 stars for them greens. I will have to come back and try a whole dinner.

Ribs are the bomb . The Mac and cheese is not your southern maw maws Mac and cheese.. theirs is a bit different but maybe it’s a Tampa thing so idk but I’m not getting it again, it was rotini noodles with a yellow sauce . Catfish was delicious !!! Service was nice too

Great selection of meats and sides. I chose the 3 meat combo and was pleasantly surprised. It was a generous portion, so much I had to take some home (a rarity). My wife thought the brisket Philly was superb. Order at the counter and it’s brought to the table. The tangy barbecue sauce was my favorite. The sausage was quite meaty too. The ribs were tender and the meat came right off the bone. We shall return next time we visit Tampa. Vegetarian options: It’s a meat restaurant. It’s all about the meat. They do have catfish. I’ve been going to Hanks for years. I went through drive thru Superbowl Sunday what a disappointment. I placed my order, paid for it & it was brought outside to me. I was missing a meal and went inside and met with great RUDENESS by Jada. I was explaining the mistake she said “you’re rude, my reply you made a mistake I’m only asking to fix it, her reply I did not make a mistake , then she yelled for the manager come get this rude lady. She continued to bad mouth me to her workers, even using slang to my race, I’m white. Other patrons were in the restaurant. The manager came out very professional and corrected the error. I said to him “ she is bad for business”. Please HANKS coach Jada on professionalism, manners, listening and being kind. I will return to HANKS ,I just hope I NEVER have this type of encounter
