I used to live in the UES back in 2017 and everytime we come back to the city, we make sure to stop here! The iced Spiced Dirty Chai Tea latte is amazing, but the staff makes this place even better. If you're in the UES (or not, we drive from Hoboken!) you must go.
Came in because it looked open even though it said it was closed online. I asked if they were open and the guy just stared at me blankly. So I asked what time they closed and he said 8 (it was 7:34). I ordered a mocha and the dude asked the follow up questions like I was an idiot. He was so snotty, I felt so unwelcome that I just left to get one elsewhere….
The vanilla chai must be a hit because I ordered it and in the hour I sat there, at least ten others order it. Pastries looked stale. Vanilla dirty chai was very good
Burnt coffee, stale pastries, and terrible hospitality. Would go out of business if not so close to the subway.
Worst place to buy weed from. The marijuana taste bad like it was lab made. When I went back in and complained the young guy with the durag told me he would not exchange it and that I can purchase another if I did not like it. I told him I would pay the difference and he can give me something different but instead he said he can keep my weed purchase and give me something else at a discount? Bad business do not buy weed here customer service sucks they don’t care about you or even know what there selling.
Bitter espresso; only disposable cups. Pastries and food look good but I didn't have any.
The toasted almond coffee is my favorite. Its a tiny cafe, best for grabbing coffee on the go.
Stopped in after getting off the train. No frills tiny coffee shop with some baked goods and coffees. The highlight was the chocolate pecan croissant pastry we ordered. Wow it was that good! Service was quick, friendly, and attentive. The space is very small but they did have about 6 window counter seats to sit, sip, and people watch.
