Awesome chef, put on a great show.
We ordered take out last night, the lady I spoke with was very nice and repeated the order back to me. But when we got home, we were missing our soups and salads. We also paid for additional sauces we didn’t receive those either. The food was mediocre, rice seemed stale as if it sat for some time. Ordered a side of vegetables (onions, zucchini and mushrooms) we got a side of onions. The chicken was very tough and dry. We decided to give hananoki a try because we were on that side of town. Unfortunately we wont be returning again and will stick to our usual hibachi restaurant yellowtail.

Seated after ten minutes. Placed our order after 5 minutes. 45 minutes later served nothing but drinks and one appetizer. Asked for a status of the hibachi chef coming to our table. Told by our waitress we were next in line and he was preparing our dishes. Watched the chef then go to a table that was seated after us. Then the manager told us the waitress never put our order in. We left.
Best japanese teppanyaki fried rice around.
