Halfway Crooks Beer

Good beer, good service, and the upstairs patio is perfect on a spring day. Go - you won't be disappointed.

Been here a few times. Good German syle beers. I thought the rooftop used to be more open. We checked it out and it had a fishy/old oil smell and was very enclosed for a rooftop. Decided to go over and enjoy the nice weather in their Beirgarten instead. Cute and made of little shipping containers. Lots of seating but the picnic style tables are so packed into the containers it's like sardines and crowded. Had to get people from both tables to get up and move outside the container in order to make it out to go to the restroom. And then people from both tables had to get up to let me back in.

Just ok, food options are not great, my fries were overcooked and super greasy, burger was undercooked, service was halfway decent, not horrible but not great, you have to order every single thing you want (side of ketchup, asking for extra napkins etc through the stupid QR code. Also the way you have to pay on the QR code site thing is actually really silly if youre going to hang for a bit.....definitely wouldn't come back, plenty of other options in the area. The immediate service charge and getting barely anything close to service is a waste of money...our entire table said they wouldn't come back.

We were in Atlanta this past weekend for the hops in the hangar and our party had no restaurants/brewery planned before our event. as we were driving towards Downtown Atlanta on a Saturday afternoon to get lunch the traffic was so bad, I knew I have to find a quick lunch for our group right away lol, I was googling restaurants near me and nothing caught my eye and then finally I used the YELP app and search for brewery near me and Halfway Crooks Beer pop, I looked and it was less than 1 mile away from where we at. to be honest I was not sure what to expect at this brewery but I saw on the menu that they have food and beer and that is what we needed. The location for this brewery is close to the old baseball stadium, parking can be tricky but we parked on the free retail parking. this area is so cute, they have different places to eat and shop. Definitely worth visiting while in Atlanta. We got to the brewery, we were greeted right away and seated. You don't get an actual server for your table, you actually have to order your food online (you have to scan your phone and the menu pops! very easy :) ) Surprisingly they have a lot to offer, from beers and food and I was actually a little adamant that we have to order our own food but the service was actually really good and fast! we ordered pretzel, my husband ordered the burger and I ordered the chili hotdog and the waffle with apple as for the drinks i ordered Radler beer and sadly I couldn't remember what my husband ordered but he got the dark beer and he loves it! I am so happy that we ended up at halfway Crooks beer, this is such a cute place to hangout and they have a small market place that you can buy merchandise and beer. their staff is very friendly and the place is so clean even the bathrooms! I am very impressed at this place and I definitely want to go back here again!
