Foods good service is slow, it took 15 minutes before anyone acknowledged me then I waited 25 minutes to get my bill, appetizers, salad and main course was served all at once causing food to get cold too fast, no reason whatsoever for multiple items put down at the same time, appetizers are supposed to be served first then main course, oysters were delicious but blackened fish was too chewy not flaky.
To expensive for what you get. Portion sizes were to small.
Celebrated a birthday there today. Carla, our server, was outstanding.
Absolutely all around perfect
Big oyster fan here, so I can say this place is an awesome stop if you’re into that. Seafood is off the chain here and the drinks taste flavorful.
This is the second time we have tried this place. I have to say more of all the same of the rest of the bad reviews. Each time there was slow service, no silverware given (had to ask), check and recheck for drinks ordered, half of the oysters were a waste of time (served with no horseradish or cocktail, had to stare at food and wait.), food served cold, side portions very small, had to wait on gumbo to be “made fresh”, asked for bread and got one piece for two people. Done.
We visited at around 2pm on a Saturday to avoid crowds. The restaurant was very nice. Everything was clean and the music was relaxing and a good volume. Our waitress was friendly and knew the menu well. We had fried shrimp with fries and brocolli and everything was cooked perfectly. The Caesar salad was also delicious.
I’ve eaten at this location a few times. To-go as well as dine-in. Lunch and dinner. This particular time I ordered take out and the young lady at the bar Riley was a bit rude and seemed to be irritated. Also, I called my order in ahead of time and was given a wait time of 15-20 min and it ended up taking 30+min. Once I got my food it was not hot, it seems like it had been sitting for a while. Also, the quantity of food I received did not match the amount that I paid. I’m hoping that this is not the way it will be if I order in the future. It’s making me reluctant. I am thinking of going to another location instead in the future. Kid-friendliness: The restaurant seems to be more tailored toward adults, however it does accommodate for children well.
