Food is wonderfully seasoned, fresh and inspired. However I'd for sure do something about the bar seats. They have to be some of the most uncomfortable bar stools I've ever experienced. 5 stars otherwise
Food was pretty mid. Not much flavor on any dish. The wings were solid though and crunchy and I thought that was the best thing I ate out of 9 items. Wouldn’t go back here again
Really cool spot and deceivingly large! The staff was kind and the restaurant week menu had a vegetarian version which I appreciated. The mushrooms weren’t my favorite but the papaya salad, kabocha curry, and chocolate rice pudding at the end were standouts
HaiSous is by far one of my favorite places to grab dinner! Pricing is very affordable for an exquisite experience! Highly recommend getting the wings they offer. Definitely don’t want to miss out on those! All in all, since my first visit (which was a late dinner), the staff was attentive but towards the end a bit eager to have us leave. Although, I can understand everyone wants to get home as quick as possible, I did make the drive to eat there so maybe just asking to bring the check before laying it down on our table! Other than that 5 star all day! Parking: I suggest finding a place to park before getting there!
One person highly recommended this place as her favorite Vietnamese restaurant. Intrigued, we decided to give it a try one Friday evening. Luckily, we managed to snag a table, perhaps due to a last-minute cancellation. Arriving just in time for happy hour, we swiftly ordered from the discounted menu, enjoying the excellent value offered. It's a great opportunity to sample a wide variety of their dishes. We chose the meat platter, and it exceeded our expectations in terms of flavor and quality. Despite having visited numerous Vietnamese restaurants across the US, this platter stood out as one of the best meat dishes we've ever tasted. The atmosphere is also distinct from typical Vietnamese restaurants, adding an extra layer of enjoyment to the experience. Additionally, their creative drink menu adds to the overall appeal. Overall, it's a good restaurant worth trying.
HaiSous offers great modern Vietnamese cuisine, and we found most of the dishes during our visit to be enjoyable. The interior of the restaurant is very modern and sleek. Among the highlights were the octopus salad, grilled ribeye, and grilled eggplant. Each dish was well seasoned with a great balance of refreshing flavors and spices. However, the Bun Cha fell short of our expectations in terms of flavor and tasted fairly standard, particularly considering its price point as an entree. Service was attentive and courteous throughout our meal. One minor drawback was the close proximity of tables in our dining area, which made it more difficult to fully enjoy our meal due to the loud conversations nearby and limited privacy.
Absolutely amazing. Tried most of the items on the menu. Everything was delicious. Service is impeccable and decor is appealing. Thank you for the wonderful experience.
