Haiku Tampa

GREAT dinner, fun, loungey atmosphere!

Had to ask the bartender for everything, he was not attentive enough. I told him this as well. Nice guy, but not on the ball. Also they took the egg rolls off the menu, I was shocked, that was one of the best apps they had. The vibe here is great, but the food is really not that great. The fried rice, the rice was like Indian rice, not Japanese style rice and it was not that good. I feel like Haiku used to be better. Very hard to find good restaurants downtown Tampa now to be honest.

I’ve been here once before for dinner and really enjoyed it. I stopped by tonight just to grab a drink before a show and the service is absolutely terrible. It took 10 min before anyone spoke to me as I’m sitting at the outside bar. After waving a server down, he said he would get someone. And while someone came out to greet me, they brushed me off. I could barely get the person to grab menus so I could be ready to order when they finally got their stuff together. And while it wasn’t a long wait to get my drink, I had enough time to write this review.

Beautiful restaurant with food and drinks to match. The presentation of the meals was fantastic and the food was delicious. We will be coming back here again.

We had reservation for inside but they wanted to place us outside, this was Saturday night when it was really cold outside. We were placed inside just to receive an apologize and asked to be moved back outside because they were unaware of someone else asking to be placed there. This was my first and last experience at this place.

Great place for brunch!

Wow! What a beautiful, fun place! Great atmosphere. The kitchen was on point. The Food (truffle edemame, wagyu, ramen, sushi, and magic chocolate dessert) was delicious and out fast. Service (Burke) was super friendly, patient and helpful. Staff morale was upbeat and infectious. Drinks were beautiful and tasty with properly crafted flavor. Manager (Dallas) was on the ball. This is now a must visit for me and my wife when ever we are in Tampa. So happy we found it. KEEP IT UP EVERYBODY!!!

This Japanese themed, Asian fusion is definitely a hit for anyone who wants their tasebuds to be treated well. The bartenders produce delicious cocktails, and the culinary crew is excellent with the meal preparation. A definite return for me. The interior design, comfortable seating, and music (live and with playlist) maintain a vibe that keeps the spirit light and fun.
