I rarely gave only one star to a restaurant. Firstly, they only accepted cash. And then, I wasn't satisfied with their taste. Finally, their services were truly terrible. When there are so many restaurants in this area, I believe that you deserve a better one.
This is a 3.5 star review. We tried the beef and chicken rice noodle soup and the Hainan chicken. The chicken itself tastes good and meat the juicy but the portion of the meat is not many for the Hainan chicken. Noodle soup broth is refreshing and flavorful. Overall, it's a good place if you want to have Pho with fresh chicken broth.
Their attentive service make my visit a good one.
Came here to try bun rieu. The size is hearty, and the taste is pretty decent. Tasted better versions of bun rieu in OC. Think its pretty alright. The service was friendly. Thinking it could be a women owned business. Ladies were sweet and accommodating. I requested to have the papaya salad without meat and all shrimp instead. They were able to adjust the dish. Overall, the food is good. I'm still on the hunt to find good bun rieu in the 626. Open to recommendations!!
The classic dish here is the pho ga of course. But don’t sleep on their other dishes! Everything on the menu is done well with just the right amount of salt and balanced flavors. Other dishes highly recommend is their bun cha hanoi, which is a lettuce wrap with rice vermicelli noodles and grilled meats. The ladies are also very nice and friendly, making it feel like I’m eating a meal in their home. Cash only.
