A hidden GEM in Cleveland city for an authentic Korean dish! The food was perfectly cooked and very flavorful! It reminded me of a home cooked meal! The place is tiny with about 20-30 people sitting and 1990's decoration, but it actually created an ambiance of suburban Korea. Even though we got there 50 mins before the closing, they were very friendly and courteous.
I m working at this restaurant as server. I read 3 bad review with 1star. I know same person wrote those reviews. And I rerember his order. He ordered gimbap, tonktatsu and pork bulgogi. He brought Romain rettuce by himself he requested me put romain lettuce under the pork bulgogi he show me picture too so I cut and took off dirty and unfresh leaves and put it in the box He gave me $3 tips. He picked up @1pm. But he called us at 5pm he said all foods were cooked with chicken. So another server said take picture and send us but he didn't. I saw the foods to confirm before packing but all foods were correct. I m telling you Come to me and talk. I remember you. I did my best to you. I didn't steal your money.
Bad experience, the people here are terrible. People do not trust them. Do not eat here. Do not send anyone here at all. Not recommend it terrible, they are thieves. They steal from you and keep your money and they won't give you a refund.
I'm so glad we stumbled upon this place. They seated our party of eight graciously. The food was out of this world delicious. We were very happy with our entire experience. Vegetarian options: My vegetable dumplings were the best I ever had in my entire life.
This restaurant is truly a hidden gem of Cleveland Asia town! I had been looking for authentic Korean restaurant, and I wished I had found this place sooner! Located inside the shared building with other Asian restaurants, is this very own Ha Ahn restaurant We were greeted by the staff and was seated right away (since the space was quite small, if you go during lunch or dinner rush, expect some wait time, though they also offer takeout) You will be offered a set of Banchan (complimentary side dishes to go with your meal), that I find it so much fun to try out different fermented vegetable as well as kimchi, but my favourite has to be the fish cakes. We have tried Tteokbokki (in a spicy sweet sauce),and homemade steamed dumpling served with soy sauce. Both are great appetizers to share My most favorite dishes would be Galbi (grilled marinated short rib), Spicy pork bulgogi, Bibimbap (ground beef and vegetable rice bowl) and Soft tofu soup. They also offer lunch special which comes with salad, seaweed salad, fried gyoza, and kimchi for a reasonable price. They will give you a cute little bottle of the complimentary sweet probiotic drinks after the meal as well. The food came out in a reasonable time, service was great, the lady who helped us was very nice and helpful. They also offer various sushi menu, which I have to check out in another time. I would recommend this place for anyone who loves Korean food to give it a try. Apparently they have been open for at least 10 years now, I do hope they will be here for at least another 10-20 years. Parking: There is plenty of parking lot right in the back of the building. Never had trouble finding place to park
Wow! Can’t stop thinking about this food
We had a party of 8 and we're accommodated nicely. We all shared the food we ordered and every morsel was incredible! Definitely going there again. Everything was fresh. Vegetarian options: They have many vegetarian options available. A person in our party is vegetarian and she had no problem finding options.
This place was fantastic! The exterior is a little unwelcoming, but don't let that fool you! The food was absolutely delicious. For appetizers, my friend and I shared the steamed dumplings and the bulgogi gimbab. The dumplings came out very hot but they were exactly what was described. Honestly, the gimbab tasted very similar to sushi. My friend got the soft tofu soup, which was very flavorful and the spice was mild, if that's an issue for anyone. My entree was the hot stone bibimbab. The hot stone allowed the meal to be warm the entire time I was eating it. This was absolutely a wonderful experience, and I hope to visit here many more times!
