I went with my couple for V-DAY, it "looked" like a fancy restaurant and a good option for a romantic dinner. I couldn't have been more mistaken. I spent more than 100 for the full service for both and IHOP has a better service than this, the food was really good, yes, but you have to have more than good food if you charge so much. The whole restroom was terribly dirty, I had to clean it myself, they never asked anything and I had to tell them the basic things I needed all the time, as you can see in the picture they give paper fast food cups. But the real proboem I had was when by the middle of our course they turned all the lights on at max and started putting on terrible music at full volume in the kitchen for the rest of the evening. I had to stand two types of bad music loudly and bright lights on what I hoped was a romantic dinner.
I admit I didn't believe the bad reviews about long wait times but unfortunately it's all true. This must be the worst Gyu Kaku I've ever been. Usually I'm down in Torrance or in Pasadena in the past. Food didn't come out and we had to ask several times for it. Half of our order didn't make it... The guy cleaning the table was helping us out while our server was nowhere to be found. Thank you Also, the beer was warm
Gyu-kaku is always great, and most locations keep the quality consistent. My only complaint about this place... Was their lack of interest in being at work that day. It was Christmas day, and the restaurant was supposed to open at 11am. The manager got there, at 11am. He even said, "I don't even think they're ready inside yet" then we waited outside for almost 20min. So this place's service sucked. Would not recommend this location, there is a better one close by at 10925 W. Pico Blvd. Los Angeles, CA. 90064. This location has never failed us.
The food was amazing! But the service wasn't giving us all the food but they were super nice. Overall a good time.
Pésimo servicio y discriminatorio
Terrible service and subpar food...
Great food and good value! But I finished the miso soup and saw the label still sticking on the spoon
