Food was cold and greasy. Waited about 50 mins for a substandard meal for price. Service was terrible and slow, didn’t do gin and tonics at the bar. Missed items ordered. Cocktails are pretty awful too, sex on the r beach tasted like a screwdriver, should have just ordered vodka orange. Only served two types of cocktails too apparently. Table was dirty. Save your money, better places nearby for cheaper prices.

Music was too loud so we sat outside. Not very authentic for a gyros. I wouldn't return

Maybe one of the worst meals I've had in Manchester for a while. We bought a wowcher deal for the mixed grill platter and duly turned up at Cargo on Monday evening to be advised it was a popup that had moved down the road to Floripa. We arrived at Floripa and it is only what can be described as a club in the printworks. They were absolutely blaring out very very loud rap music (on a Monday!!??) and we were directed upstairs where it is 'quieter' it was not.... The food was OK lots of greasy donna meat, very dry shawrma and some sort of oily sausage. Not worth the £29 which doesnt even include a drink. Service was OK. Checked on once by a young girl. We're in our 30s so just about put up with the music but there was an elderley couple in there also eating and they definately were not expecting a club meal! The toilets are also absolutly vile. The sanitary bin was overflowing with glasses and general muck everywhere. We use Wowcher deals often and this one was rubbish!

Purchased a deal through groupon Went to gyro land with the wife... Food was disguting,mould on the bread...only noticed after eating bread..put off the rest of the food.will never return and would advise anyone against going there! Avoid at all costs

Tried Gyroland through a Wowcher deal for a mixed grill for 2 people for £29. Well not again this place is awful, firstly we had to send my pint back 3 times as it was buttery like the lines had just been done and not fully flushed through. Then the food came and it was revolting, with pink chicken and dried up dinner meat it’s a health hazard, the fries were under cooked also but seasoned with red salt which made them look better than they were. When raising this to the bar maid we were dismissed and told the donner meat was fine. Went to the toilet where I had to use a lift and this was as disgraceful, unclean and damaged. The wife emailed with regards to getting a refund and again dismissed with a reply stating that there was nothing wrong with the food and that it was not to are liking and refused to refund. This is the worst place I have had the displeasure for dining and is clearly hiding behind the business name Floripa with gyroland in smaller print on the menus. I would strongly advise avoiding this place at all costs unless you fancy rolling the dice and risking food poisoning and other health compromising illnesses. Doesn’t even deserve the 1 star.

SCAMMERS! DON’T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKES AS SO MANY OTHERS. REFUSING REFUND please read other reviews! I wish i had looked at reviews before going into this place. The food gets dropped off by a deliveroo driver from a different company with a 3 star hygiene rating. Our food didn’t arrive after 45 mins and we had to leave without getting it as we were going to a show. (We had not been told about any delay - thinking a garlic bread cannot possibly take 45 mins) I was told i couldn’t get a refund in the bar (clearly the tried and tested scamming mechanism). I have sent multiple emails to the owner who quite frankly doesn’t care. No refund for food i never even received. This company keeps getting away with this, I have since read so many other reviews of people being refused refunds for completely unsatisfactory service. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

I’d love to give 0 stars if it was an option, what an absolute nightmare. Ordered via the QR code and got an email confirmation saying the order was paid for and a reference number, and money came out my account. Almost an hour later we were told food was coming it was just really busy because of the rugby and show at the arena. Still nothing happened and we questioned again what was going on, they say they have no order in the system and I need to email someone to get a refund as there’s no management on site and they can’t just give cash out the till. 5 order couples/families also experienced the same to the point where the “chef/owner” had to be tracked down and physically brought out of the kitchen to speak to us and give us our money back after being fobbed off repeatedly. He was also rude to his own staff and blamed the issues on them which was incredibly unprofessional. Ended up being late to the show at the arena and missing part of the support act because they couldn’t sort themselves out. Absolute joke of a place, don’t waste your time.
