Highly recommended, best Izakaya in Vancouver. Pricing is very fair/cheap compare to its portion and quality. One of few Japanese places that is not over-rated
We sat in the upstairs room on the floor and had a great experience. The cocktails were yummy and the food was delicious. Really enjoyed the beef sukiyaki hotpot and the potato-mochi. They also have different daily specials you can try. Would definitely go again!
Mediocre food, small servings, too expensive and bad service. We haven’t even received our dessert and one of our appetizers order and they were already handing us the bill. Not worth it.
We enjoyed eating here on Robson and yes, “garlic is Guuu’d”. The reviews were great and we gave it a try. It didn’t disappoint as we all enjoyed our meals. The place was busy and the layout of the restaurant was ok. The service was a little slow, and I’m guessing because staffing was tight and it was busy. The kids enjoyed their noodles and edamame. Overall good food with an authentic experience.
Really good food, so many options and the restaurant is really cute.
This place used to be extremely popular in 2013-2016 - it was impossible to get a seat. Over the years the quality of the food has definitely gone down hill. Just isn’t hitting the mark anymore.
Good izakaya and great food. Especially recommend beef sukiyaki, porkloin cutlet and takowasa.
