We ADORE this spot. Wonderful tap and great staff! We love board games and they're loaded with them. We like them so much we had our wedding rehearsal get together there. They were super flexible and accommodating!

Hosted a big birthday party in the back room. They let us bring decorations and cake and Hannah our server was so wonderfully attentive to everyone’s orders and keeping them all straight. She let us adjust the music volume to our liking, and the entire staff was just so wonderful all around. Will absolutely be back!!

Super cozy neighborhood bar! This is a great place with well-priced drinks and plenty of seating space. It's a cozy, welcoming atmosphere with lots of board games to choose from! The service is great and everyone is very kind and helpful. They do not offer food, but you can bring your own or order food delivery to the bar itself and enjoy while you drink and play games! Absolutely a favorite, local spot that is great all the time, but always a go-to in the winter.

great place for a drink, plenty of TVs and lots of board games to choose from, solid beer list. parking is tough bc it's near wrigley.

Visited during Halloweekend dressed as shrek, had fantastic time, and had a particularly excellent server named Julian

My husband and I hosted our day after wedding event here. He’s a huge Ohio State football fan and Matt the owner went above and beyond to help make it perfect. He brought in tvs from his other bar and let us have the entire outside and porch area for take out food. It was an amazing experience!!! Matt and the entire staff were SO great!! Can’t recommend Guthrie’s and his other bar, Commonwealth, enough!!!
