Gus’s World Famous Fried Chicken

I've been to many locations in my day, and this one was another excellent experience as well. I would give it 5 stars like I normally do, but this time, it was obvious that the grease they fried the chicken in needed to be changed. The chicken was still tasty as usual, and the mac n cheese, baked beans, and fried okra were great. The fried green tomatoes were good. The greens were bland, and the potato salad was average. Overall, though, definitely worth the trip and price, and I will be back. Keep up the great work! Updated visit on 2022.08.26 Great customer service as usual. Calling in the order ahead of time is definitely the way to go. The freshest and best tasting chicken in all of DFW!! 2022.12.23 visit 3-piece white with double sides of fried okra. It's OK

It was delicious, honestly not much else to say, if you haven't tried it, you need to.

Service was pretty good but the food got worse every time we came back, at first it was decent for the price and the last time we got it the chicken might as well as been cremated. Fries and greens are good, Mac and cheese are alright and the bread is just wonder bread. Over all they have gone done and would not go back. Parking: There isn’t really any parking besides the street and the other restaurant next to it and last time I went one of the other lots near it was paid
