Gus's World Famous Fried Chicken

I'm not a fried chicken expert, but I do know this is my favorite fried chicken joint. Their chicken is on point! Definitely a must try. Their appetizers are delicious as well.

We had our first at Memphis when we drove through Tenessee. My wife and I didn’t expect to see one in LA. Crispy chicken outside and juicy inside. These are made fresh as you order so make sure you have the patience to wait. Wife ordered 3 wings but was given a different one, but they have us keep it while they prepare the actual order. Going the extra mile! Staff are also diverse, which is good!❤️

Best chicken I've had in a while!

This chicken is truly amazing! So juicy and crispy at the same time! I haven’t had fried okra in years, and this was so good! I ordered to go and waited about 15 minutes for the chicken to be made which wasn’t bad at all. I chatted with the cashier who was super friendly. All of the staff were in high spirits and it seemed like a real family environment. 10/10 for the chicken, I would probably try different sides next time but the okra was a hit for sure!

Great fried chicken . Food, fresh and hot. Ample amount. Pricey $$$, but worth every penny. 1 unisex bathroom, could of used a little more attention, but it was ok. Fast & friendly service. Love Gus's chicken . Parking: Small parking lot, limited spaces, crowded during lunch & dinner. U shaped lot, in on one side, out the other side. Kid-friendliness: Kids welcome .

One of the best fried chicken I've ever had. Thin coating and crispy. My sides were all slappin, especially that potato salad.

I’ve been looking for good fried chicken places in LA, and Gus’s is one of the best places. The chicken pieces are crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Even the breast meat was very juicy which was very impressive. The tender was a bit disappointing compared to other chicken pieces but still ok. Chicken pieces are slightly on the salty side but it’s perfect to go with the side dishes. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. It’s a bit pricey compared to ordinary fried chicken franchise, but I think it was well worth it.
