Andrew is a great server. He gives great hospitality at the restaurant. I am visiting Edmonton for business. I will definitely go back to Guru for their quality food and excellent service especially by Andrew.

Always a delight, the shining star of indian dining. Elegant; delicious and with excellent service. Kudos as always to this wonderful establishment. Consistency is key in this industry and you never disappoint. Dietary restrictions: Gf naan was ok -- not a super fan of bean flour but as an option being available i was grateful

We usually love GURU. We made reservations for Valentines Day for a special set menu. When we arrived the restaurant was not busy at all. We were seated in the back section-and were the only table in our area. It took about 10 minutes for the server to come to our table. We ordered our dinner as well as another dish and a few drinks. The host brought out our dishes. Our server did not order our extra dish, so the host ordered it for us. The food was good, a bit sparse, and on the cool side, but still yummy. The waitress did not check on how our food was. She did not clear our many dirty plates, and brought our dessert to us, putting it in the middle of all of the dirty dishes. We were only seated at a table for two, so there was very little room for the abundance of dishes. After about 15 minutes of our server and the host, going back and forth by our table not taking our dirty dishes, we finally asked who we think was the manager, to clear our dirty dishes so that we could enjoy our dessert. A few minutes later he returned and took most, with another server coming to take the last dirty dish. Four tables in our section had dirty dishes on them, with two other tables being served dessert with a table full of dirty dishes. Our bill was incorrectly priced also. The service at Guru used to be amazing-with food to match, no matter how busy it was-and has always been one of our most favourite restaurants. We were more than disappointed with the service tonight, on Valentine’s Day. We will not be returning based on our experience tonight. There are many amazing Indian cuisine restaurants with both phenomenal service and food close to home. We will happily take our business there.

The restaurant has beautiful interior. The food is fusion version of Indian food, not authentic. If you like fusion food, then it’s a great place to visit. Staff was friendly and customer service was great. The only disappointment was mango lassi. Mango lassi was far from real mango lassi. It was just mango rass pored over thick yogurt. Not mixed properly and wasn’t sweet enough as not enough mango added into it. I would go again with Caucasian friends who can’t handle spicy food or go when in mood to try fusion version.

This place is AMAZING! Went out for a family dinner and in the mood for Indian food, and we wanted to try a new place out - so we came here. Wow!! Not only is the environment/ambiance very nice, but the service is top-notch and the food is absolutely delicious. We were VERY impressed with our experience and definitely look forward to coming back again. Thank you! Vegetarian options: Lots of food options, including vegetarian

This is the worst service I've ever experienced! I typically don't leave reviews, but I feel compelled to share my disappointment. We spent $200, and the service was appalling. It was my sister's birthday, and our evening was completely ruined by the staff. This was my first time trying this restaurant, and the server was incredibly rude, even making unpleasant faces. It felt like we were being racially profiled. Thank you for ruining our evening and my sister's birthday!
