The communal seating and open concept is such an interesting experience. Getting to hear the chefs speak passionately about their dishes as they bring them to your table is wonderful!

The food was cold and they have roaches.

Couldn't order a drink to save my life. Probably because the worst thing that ever happened to my server was my birth and the unfortunate series of events that led me to sitting at his table. Atmosphere is as advertised, loud, bright, and uninteresting...think sharing a lunch table with kids you don't know in a middle school cafeteria. Food was the opposite of the atmosphere. Interesting, but dull and muted. It did share one trait with the atmosphere...poorly executed (collapsed bao buns? 3 out of 4!?)

Such a great place to celebrate special occasions. Staff made our evening feel special and the lamb ribs and bison are out of this world. Definitely more of an experience than a nice dinner. Recommended to go with 3-4 close friends since you'll be sharing everything. Music is still way too loud, although it's clearly intentional to make it feel like a social bar environment. -------- Tldr; Gunshow has a bar-like atmosphere with fancy food. Glad we went but probably won't spend the money on the experience again. Each dish is truly a culinary work of art - visually appealing plates and fascinating flavors. However, some plates were so dainty that it felt like we were spending $10 on a tasting. The restaurant claims it serves "dim-sum style". This is confusing because the only similarity is that they bring dishes to you, you say how many you want, and they mark it down. Unlike dim-sum, dishes come out one at a time and do not come back again. Also, no carts. Can't have the true dim-sum experience without the carts. The biggest annoyance was getting a headache at the restaurant because music (and therefore people) was very loud. They WON'T lower the volume per request.
