Don’t sleep on eating here! When I tell you the papelon changed my LIFE It tastes like a delicious, tart apple pie. It’s a raw sugar lemonade steeped with cinnamon and clove, if you were curious. I’ve had the cubano and pernil sandwiches. Both were delicious, but I wish the pernil had more garlic mayo as it was a bit dry to eat. The yucca fries and aioli dipping sauce are unmatched. My friend had the arepa pabellón and loved it. I had a plantain from it and it was very tasty. I’ve been to both locations, and the Nob Hill one is very cozy and charming. I recommend visiting that one if you’re in the area.

Is there a better place to get Cuban food in Albuquerque? The staff is absolutely phenomenal here and make amazing meals. The Cuban coffee is delicious and the Cubano sandwiches is my favorite in Albuquerque. I started going here a few years back and the level of consistency will keep me going here forever!
