I’m not sure why we haven’t been to this place before but it was absolutely amazing! The food is first rate, extremely well prepared and the beer was excellent. The staff was friendly, very knowledgeable about both the food and the beer and very accommodating to all our questions. Can’t wait to return and sit upstairs on the deck! I highly recommend this great spot! Casey Wilkins
We were just off our flight from Detroit and desperate for food and a drink. We hit the jackpot with choosing Grid City. They had the perfect combination of choices for beverages and food choices. The nitro beer was truly the smoothest beer we’ve ever had! Food, drinks, service and ambiance were all the perfect combination for our arrival in SLC.
First time, won't be the last. Cool place. Good beer with multiple carbonation options, which I didn't know was a thing. Chill atmosphere. Decent music, not too loud, easy enough to enjoy and still talk. The regular I met there says that they've changed the menu around a few times but it's always good.
I used to love this place. When they first opened, the beer and the food were the best in town. They still crush it on the beer. Hopefully that never changes. The food however, has gone so far down in quality that it isn't worth eating there let alone the raised prices. I went for the first time in six months last night to give them another chance. They used to have great burgers and especially the fresh cut fries. Now the fries are cheap and generic... Really just a boat for condiments. The burger was thin, dry, and tasted like fish. It's like their pride in the kitchen just up and left. The beer is still top notch.
Good beer, try the Raspberry Cacao Brown Ale Nitro if you get the opportunity. Fish and chips were different, not what I was used to but overall good. Definitely worth going back to! Nice vegan options as well!
Grid City has a laid-back atmosphere. On a Tuesday night, we were able to walk in and get a table right away. I would consider them to have been steady, meaning that they were busy, but not too busy. There were still empty tables. The food was good. Husband enjoyed the Raspberry Vanilla Cacao Nitro Brown Ale, but not a fan of the cucumber lime seltzer; stated that it tasted like squeezed cucumber in a glass. The only real complaint was that there was no hot water in the bathroom to wash hands. We were able to sit for an hour after we paid to catch up with friends without feeling like we were a bother to be there or that we had to go.
Excellent service! Love the beer flights
Seltzers were great. John was our server and he was excellent. Food was very good also .
