Visited the store today. The staff were so friendly and went above and beyond! I was really happy with my visit! :)

Great staff and fresh food

It's been a while since I used to venture into this place so I thought I'd give it another chance. NO CHANGE - other than the staff ARE honest when asked if the food is hot. One answered, "No, that's cold, nate" and even HE grimmaced. My original post below... Pleasant staff, but unpleasant food (sorry, harsh but true). I bought a steak bake and a sausage, bean & cheese melt. The former was more like Baked Alaska (only colder) and the 'melt' was actually a sausage, bean & cheese SOLID - again owing to the unfeasibly low temperature (not just tepid, but COLD). This is the second time in as many visits to the same shop - though at least the staff TOLD me they only had "Warm bakes" on my previous visit. No more chances. I'll stick to the burger van outside in future. Just to avoid confusion, the Gregg's I visited was the one almost opposite Aldi in the Manchester Arndale.

Gracie has excellent customer service quality's. Our pasties was cold & replaced it with a hot one.10 out of 10. She should be the manager !
