The place has some of the most amazing Taiwanese food and the lady that runs it is the absolute nicest. The prices also cannot be beat. It hasn’t been open though since the end of spring semster 2023 though. Are they going to reopen?

Absolutely wonderful Taiwanese food! Since COVID, Greenade is no longer doing the menu that is on their truck. Instead, look for the sign propped up just outside the order window. They sell three things: - Portuguese style egg tart - braised beef and rice (niu rou fan) - braised pork and rice (lu rou fan) So far I've had the first two things and will FOR SURE be back for the last item. Egg tarts are made fresh each morning. They are fantastic!! The pastry has a million flaky layers and the egg custard is very soft. Braised beef and rice (see pictures). I was so surprised by how large a portion this was, making it really really great value (students, take note)! The beef was super flavorful and very tender -- melt in the mouth without being mushy. The beef is braised together with carrot chunks that because really wonderfully soft and take on all that sauce. I also love that she gives a good amount of vegetables. Often trucks will just give one piece of bok choy to add some green color. Here, I actually felt like it was added so that I could get real nutrition from it. Other places might reduce the amount of meat when they increase the amount of veg, but not here, cos they come in two different containers. Finally, the woman who runs this truck is so sweet. It makes me sad that she had to change menu due to reduced customers during the pandemic (but also, the new offerings are GREAT), and I suspect a lot of people will walk by when they realize she isn't selling what is pictured on the truck. Don't do that as you'll really be missing out! Update to review on 7/23: I think they may be closed during the UT summer? To the owner: please update with info or a number that we can call!

Get the braised pork over rice, you will not be disappointed! Tastes like how I had it growing up!

Love this place!!!! Super inexpensive and the food is awesome

My go-to spot on the UT campus! Wonderful and compassionate group of individuals who run this food truck. They are currently working on some vegan dishes but were kind enough to give me a make-shift dish filled with cabbage, seasoned radish, bokchoy, and kimchi! All on top of a nice bed of white rice. Looking forward to what Greenade shares on their vegan menu! Also: I used to come here as a non-vegan as well and I have to mention that meat options are amazing. This place is slept on and the prices are currently perfect for university students. Come and check it out before the hype picks up! UPDATE: Attached are photos of their organic tofu vegan bowl! Absolutely incredible taste. Very filling and satisfying. Would highly recommend anyone to try their tofu dish if possible!

Great price and the lady is pretty nice! I hope to have less fat meat on my 滷肉飯 in the future thats my only suggestion.
