Green Marlin

I went to the green Marlin last night and was seated. A Party of four my order was taken 20 minutes later. A party of 20 came in birthday celebration they order was taken in about 10 to 15 minutes they were being served their food, another party of 4 came in and sat right across from us place their order another 15 minutes pass and They receive their food after sitting there for an hour and 15 minutes I decided to say something to one of the waitress. Why haven’t I received my food I was here before those two tables. The hostess, who sent us to our table said, that is correct. I am the one who saw you to your table. The waitress had taken our order, but never put it in, but she made one excuse after the other so we decided to leave without eating how sad is that

We came in for an early dinner on a Friday. Nice atmosphere and not too loud. Sometimes they have (Sword)fish dip as an appetizer option, but not this evening, unfortunately. Caesar salads were good- with just enough dressing. My husband had the Admiral's platter - 2 pieces of haddock, shrimp, and scallops, french fries, and hushpuppies, with a side of cole slaw. He also ordered a side of onion rings, which were kind of limp. We won't order them again. I had the fish and chips, minus the slaw. The breading wasn't heavy or greasy. For dessert we tried the peanut butter pie with Oreo crust. Overall, we were very satisfied with our Lenten meal. Our waitress, Mayssa, was attentive and pleasant. Shout out to her! Keep up the good work!

All staff is amazing. I favor Stephanie she’s my neighbor but everyone is so kind knowledgeable and on top of everything. I enjoy my experiences there.

We always choose Green Merlin for date nights until today. It is Valentine’s Day understandably busy asked how long the wait was and that we’d like to get on the list to the gentlemen at the host stand only to have the hostess then bypass us and start taking down other people behind us for the list. The gentleman even told her we were first and she responded to him and continued to ignore us. I’ve never been so embarrassed we left immediately and will not be returning.

The food was terrible and gross.

Our go-to place it’s the best in all They do!!!
