Great food Good staff Clean place Okay price
We had an order with a shrimp allergy. When the cook found out he would need to clean the grill he skipped us. I figured, that's fine. Then he skipped us again. Okay. When he decided to skip our order a third time I gave up and requested a refund. It looked fine, but I guess I'll never know now.
Lacking in cleaning the area
My food was so dry its not as saucy as it use to be my food didnt have flavor and i pit all the sauce i always do not satisfied for paying alot
This place is a little different from other Great Khans (GK) I have been to. They have 3 different size bowels. The larger the bowel equals more meat. Unlike other GK, this one is not a do it yourself. They will load the bowel for you. They weigh out the meat by the size of the bowel you order. You get a handful of each veggie you want. So if you only want a veggie or two your bowel will be relatively small. Also, there was a long wait for them to cook your bowel. The use a lot less noodle then the other GK They cook about 4 or 5 orders at a time. They burned some of my food. I noticed a large amount of char on the flattop. For more money, you get less food other than GK. I would say about 20% less.
The food was excellent, me and my friend finished a small bowl. The only problem is when they stir fry it; it gets mixed with the chili from the other orders. I can tolerate it and have seen them clean the big frying pan. I don’t get why people hate the place; it’s good. The prices are reasonable; some people don’t know how long it takes for vegetables to cook thoroughly. The reason they pour water on it is to make the cooking process faster; it’s not a fine dining people. It is a fast food place, I cooked this kind of food at home, and it’s a long process. And the noodles are an okay portion; that’s why the meat and veggies shrink when cooked. I order the small bowl cause I can’t eat as much. FYI: we’re in a Inflation lmfao. That’s why prices are high.
Location:Okay, Parking:Okay, Service: Okay, Price for food received: Okay, Overall: I have been to many Mongolian restaurants of similar design. I would consider this basic in choices for meats, vegetables, sauces, and spices to add before going to grill. Some give you an egg choice. Here, no. Some offer rice or noodles here...no. I will admit my combination did taste good, but I would have liked more choices as discussed. Maybe in the future until then, 2.5 stars...
