Great American Hero

Food is good, but the business hours which are on the building are incorrect, as are the hours posted here on Google. I attempted to update the hours here based on the soonest it'd allow me to place an online order. It's Thurs 7/15/2023. Posted hours say that they open at 7am, but the building is closed and devoid of personnel.

Was closed on a random Saturday :( missing the old GAH right about now

Here is my experience at GAH. If you went to the original you will be disappointed here. I got the godfather as I have forever at the old location. Less meat it seems and just not the same. If you like Quiznos you will like it here. People were nice and service was good. Nice clean restaurant.

I finally made it over to the new GAH and unfortunately its not the same. What a bummer! I got the pepperoni, salami and provolone without salami. Sadly, the only thing that is the same is the items on the menu. The actual sandwich was not at all a GAH. The pepperoni, not great. The provolone, not great. The bread, so disgusting. The lettuce, wilted. Even the dang oil and vinegar was not great. I have a weird clove taste after eating the sandwich. I get it...they are working out some things. I remeber reading about the takeover and how the new owners were keeping the same quality and menu. The original owner purchased produce everyday from the farmers market and made sure the freshness and quality was top priority. No one cares enough to take the time to do this anymore. The bread was really bad, but so was the meat, cheese and veggies compared to the original GAH. If Subway can get the bread right then what is the problem? The 2 stars are for the macaroni salad and the tuna salad. My co-worker did get these items and she said they tasted the same as before. Other than the bread. Good to see they are using the recipe for these items.

No gloves !! They are making sandwiches WITH NO GLOVES!!! DISTGUSTING. I placed my order drive to window saw this and drive right off!!! Absolutely not acceptable!!! This. Refs and should be addressed

If you really enjoyed the Great American Hero that was off Lemon Ave, you will be sorely disappointed eating here.

This can’t possibly be the same as the well known Lemon/Oaklawn location that I’ve heard so many good things about because this retail rd location is disappointing. Not a lot of toppings to chose from. Only greens option available is shredded lettuce, from what I saw in the chopped topping section. Bread is not fresh, kinda dry and hard to chew. Customer service is lacking. Tables and chairs are not wiped down and there is crumbs everywhere.

Great sandwiches...but this time I tried a wrap and the only thing that would make it better is if I had two!!
