Thank you for having the best happy hour for locals. Claudio and Exodus are amazing. I don't say it enough, BUT thank you!!!!
this is the first really negative review I ever wrote for a restaurant in all of norcal. I am writing this because I found this place to be pretentious, overpriced, not particularly friendly, the food was nothing special, and I had heard good things so I had some expectations. The only reason I didn't give it a worse review is that I really liked the bathrooms
We love dining at Gravenstein Grill. The food, service and atmosphere are fabulous. The food is creative and tasty. Their wine tasting events are super fun too.
Hardly anything on the menu.
Hands down the best beet salad I have had in ages. Love. Love. Love.
The atmosphere on the outside patio felt like a dream, the service, drinks and food were good, however my husband’s steak was on the same plate as the side salad and the salad dressing was mixing into the steak. It was a shame since the steak might have been very good if this didn’t happen.
Feels like our neighborhood spot. Happy hour menu is awesome, totally affordable and delicious. We had Sunday barbecue meal tonight and it was perfect. Update…. 3 months later….. well I wish I could share better news, but we ate there tonight and everything was over sauced over salty and it took at least 30 minutes for our meal to arrive. I guess everybody’s got their bad nights and it’s not like I won’t go back again, but I really expected more. At least the Manhattan was cheap for happy hour. Note to the chefs. Know that more is not necessarily better. The tomato soup that I ordered tasted more like tomato sauce. Way too salty way too strong. I did take it home and I think I’ll add a cup of milk to it tomorrow and it’ll probably be fine. The fries had so much salt on them, we could hardly eat them. And that’s super sad because the fries themselves were perfectly cooked.
