If you are looking for a healthier lunch option without sacrificing for flavor, Grass Fed is a deli that specializes in plant based and vegan options. I have tried the pastrami sandwich, the Reuben, and their house made pepperoni. All of the offerings are excellent, there are a few tables scattered around in a cute grab'n'go kind of way. We were served at the table after we ordered at the counter, the service was excellent with the knowledge of the shop, and the food delicious. I ended up preferring the Reuben sandwich over the pastrami. The guy behind the counter gave me a container of their pepperoni, to try at the pizza shop I work at. I made a vegan cheese pizza with pepperoni, and it is the best pepperoni I have found that is plant based. Vegetarian options: The Reuben ended up having more overall traditional flavor, the pastrami was quite tasty, with a spicy brown mustard, and Violife Provolone... All worked well together. Dietary restrictions: My understanding is that they do not have any actual animal protein in the deli. All the meats are made locally, most are from setan, so it is not gluten free.

Outstanding food and service! Have yet to consume an item we didn’t thoroughly enjoy and we’ve tried just about everything by now. They’re always very friendly and helpful. Patron at least a couple times per month…it’d be more if we were a little closer. A real gem of Rochester and ethically responsible to boot!

My absolute go-to favorite place for lunch. The menu is a vegan's dream; even my non-vegan friends were impressed. If you are looking for deli style deliciousness, this is it.

We had such a great family meal here! The ‘turkey’ and pesto sandwiches were amazing, and the lunch combos were a really good deal. The staff were also very friendly. Everyone loved it, vegans and non-vegans. We’ll be here again anytime we’re back in the USA!

OMG!!! We absolutely love Grass Fed! During our visit to Rochester, it became a definite favorite from our list of must-try spots. We enjoyed it so much that we stopped by twice and even ordered sandwiches for our road trip back home. From the breakfast sandwich to the Rueben, pesto, salami, and turkey sandwiches, cucumber salad, mac and cheese and cookie, each bite was amazing. Every time we thought it couldn't get better, they surprised us. My only regret is not ordering more food for the road. The staff was super friendly and provided excellent recommendations. Looking forward to visiting during our next trip to Rochester!

Grass Fed is one of the best delis in Rochester. Clever menu, consistent high quality service and food, fairly priced, and a welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended for vegans and carnists, alike.

So good. The sandos are on point. Sweet people behind the counter. Had the pesto sandwhich, cucumber salad and took home some bacon, also very good. So far my fave vegan place in the Roch. Loved the "bobs burgers" type menu names too. Well executed atmosphere, food, and service all together.
