Stopped in here for the first time, and the pizzas are excellent. You can tell the dough and ingredients are fresh and top quality. We ordered two pizzas, cheese and the roasted garlic bianca and both were cooked to perfection. What stood out to me on the cheese was the flavor and freshness of the red sauce. The roasted garlic was awesome and the dough was exactly what you'd expect on a long ferment. We added sausage which was a great addition. As a pizza lover and someone who often makes pizza at home I have to say this is up there with the best I've had in Michigan. I felt the pricing was very fair for excellent pizza, made quickly. I was in and out for a pickup order and as it is carry out only didn't have a long interaction with the staff but everyone was friendly and it seemed a family run business. You can tell the owner cares about making the best possible pizzas all the time. Will certainly be back soon!

Do not understand the rave reviews. Stopped by mid day. Crust was so burnt that he (owner) was cutting most of it off. The pizza slice could not even be held - so limp. The ‘toppings’ what there was of them (cheese and pepperoni -I actually paid for double pep- what a sad joke on me). Left a generous tip. The top of the pizza, what there was of it, needed to be eaten with a spoon. This is a prolific chef … been around a long time at many restaurants. A real bummer as I’m on the hunt for great pizza. Unfortunately, in my experience, not here. UPDATE … no one hired me! This is my actual experience. You & I had a conversation when I came in. You gave me an explanation as to why you had to cut the crust off. Your wife was there, too. I’ve had other ‘non-chain’ pizza. I understand about your dough. Could not lift the slice! Everything was in a puddle in the box. Perhaps you should listen to this customer as opposed to defending the inferior product you sold me. You DID NOT offer to remake. This pizza was already in the oven-no extra pepp was added by you. You said ‘there will be enough’. You gave the remaining part of the pizza to another fellow that was waiting for his order. Of course I expected to pay for extra pep. Was not looking for any freebie. This was more than crispy … it was BURNT AND BLACK - otherwise why would you have cut most of it off! It smelled & tasted burnt. This is my truth about my experience with your product. Unfortunately I did not take pictures. Extremely disappointed not only with the product you are selling, but also with your response.

Had the Putanesca take away pizza made with amazing dough. Tasty, complex sauce. Super friendly and outgoing owner. Will definitely return.

I feel as tho the owner needs to be educated on the DoorDash app and have a little more compassion for there delivery drivers and what they have to deal with when it comes to the orders. Granted, I’ve had to pick up orders from this location twice within the past week can understand that it being a family owned company and that it can get busy but to get upset because a Dasher is unable to deliver a customers order because said Dasher also has another order to pick up and you don’t notify that person that it is going to be a 20 to 30 minute wait for the other order until it is already too late. The first customers order has been sitting for 15 to 25 minutes and now Doordash Support has contacted said delivery driver saying that the customer is complaining because they have yet to receive their order. The delivery driver has notified the owner of the issue and he proceeds to be upset and say well you should have canceled the order. I cannot as a delivery driver cancel in order I’m less the customer is willing to do so because of the rating. Just like this establishment has a 4.8 star rating on Google review two as a delivery Dasher for Doordash have to uphold my rating but to make it easier I just will not accept orders from this establishment and I will not recommend this establishment to anyone if that is the type of attitude that the owner is going to put out into his customers I felt it was very unprofessional to get upset due to Doordash is system of not being able to continue when you receive two or more orders at once knowing that there is going to be a wait on one of those orders a longer wait at that. Again we cannot do anything about DoorDash sending us two orders at once you are upset about something out of my control and directing it at the wrong person. You should have notified me as a driver that there will be a 30 min wait not 5 mins after I arrived not 20 mins after I arrived you were all unorganized when I got there I can understand you were backed up but this is your business you need to hire more people to help and not take your frustration out on those that can’t do much when it comes to DoorDash deliveries like I said before this review can hurt your business just as much as me canceling an order can hurt my rating I’m doing this for a living just like your making pizzas for a living don’t put others down when they aren’t putting you down

Everyone needs to try their pizza! You know walking in this is a real pizza shop! Everything is house made their dough, sauce is amazing. Had a classic cheese pizza and right away regretted only getting one.

I can’t comment on the atmosphere as I ordered through DoorDash. I ordered the Margarita and I give it at least 5 stars. You can tell they use quality ingredients and it definitely shows. The crust has a chew and flavor that you only get through letting the dough rest (they rest it 96 hours) and using a natural yeast. The tomato sauce has great flavor - not too sweet, but you get the natural sweetness of the tomatoes. It is seasoned perfectly - the herbal flavors balance perfectly with the naturally sweet tomatoes. Fresh mozzarella and pieces of torn basil complete the pizza. Absolutely the finest pizza I have had in a long time and I can’t wait to try more.
