Granny Annie's Bar & Kitchen

Wonderful meal! Came in for an impromptu dinner. The Granny Red was a great way to start the meal. The food was amazing! The butternut squash bisque was creamy and an amazing texture. The Guinness stew was the perfect heartiness with soft and tender vegetables and meat. The boneless wings were fried to perfection with a mango habanero sauce that was just perfect. Would definitely love to come back for another meal. The music wasn't too loud and the vibes were pretty peaceful. Definitely think this place isn't rated as high as it could be! A neighborhood gem for sure.

Granny Annie’s Bar & Kitchen is a superb restaurant that offers guests great service, delicious American & Irish entrees and is a must visit destination on Roosevelt Island, located in Manhattan, New York. In January of 2024, I brought and treated my wife and I for dinner at Granny Annie’s and we very much enjoyed our time dining there. We were kindly welcomed by the restaurant’s staff, promptly provided with a table, and our server, Richard did a great job on taking our orders and explaining the menu options. Both my wife and I were very impressed with the restaurant’s clean and polished surroundings, and lively ambiance. In addition to the great service and atmosphere, both my wife and I found our meals to be quite tasty and delicious. My wife ordered and enjoyed her salmon based entree while I ordered and loved my turkey sandwich meal!!! If you are looking to visit and dine at a restaurant on Roosevelt Island, then look further than Granny Annie’s Bar & Kitchen. You’ll have a great dining experience!!!

Way overpriced

Great Service! The food was amazing as well.

Love everything about this place, the watermelon spritz, the Sheppards pie , the friendly and quick service, quick sitting, not too packed on a Wednesday, the layed back atmosphere, the location close to the F metro. The price a bit pricey, but what isn't in NYC!? The cost was worth the amazing experience, plus you get a good amount of delicious food ✨️ ❤️. I'll be back and I will recommend this place highly to friends and family visiting the city! Thank you!!!

The BEST French Toast I have ever had! What a sweet place. Went for Brunch and enjoyed everything about the place. The staff were friendly and accommodating and all 5 of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals and beverages. Absolutely delightful.

Lugar muy acogedor

Following a snowy walk on this bitter January day to the Roosevelt Island Lighthouse, Granny Annie’s promised to be a welcome reprieve. We ordered a juicy Beyond burger and a bowl of piping hot & creamy potato-leek soup — just what the Irish doctor ordered. Our enjoyment of the local delicacies was somewhat diminished by an air vent above our table blowing Arctic winds, but don’t worry, we girls came prepared with our warmest winter scarves. The happy hour, which runs from noon to 7 PM is unbeatable. Only $6 for well drinks, that’s what I call Bidenomics! A nice gal was enjoying a warm glass of red at the bar, and we tipped our hats her way. Jason Mraz crooned softly in the background. What more can we say. Come to Roosevelt Island for the tram ride over the sun-dappled East River, stay for Granny Annie’s.
