I booked a stay for one night at the Grand Sierra Resort after my flight was cancelled and I had to wait till the next morning for the next flight. GSR was only a 5 min drive away from the airport, which made it a convenient place to stay for my early morning flight. I booked a stay in the executive suite to experience what GSR's luxury option was like. However, my expectations plummeted after entering my room. While GSR advertises the executive suite as a "luxurious suite for travelers seeking the convenience of the office with the comforts of home", the suite has no desk space to work at and a lack of outlets, as well, to charge computers/devices. The interior design and furniture are also worn and outdated with many having large stain marks and large scuffs. In the bathroom, the towel hook was not even present only having the metal base plate for anchoring the hook to the wall. The bottom line: GSR has convenient proximity to the airport but if looking for a "luxury" stay, I would not recommend especially at its high price point
Muy buen lugar para conciertos y el casino excelente solo los precios de la comida muy elevados Food & drinks: Costosos
Always a good time coming to the GSR! Great shows great food and fun times all around. We will most certainly continue to come here time in and time out for quality entertainment that book here. It’s always nice to get away for a weekend and spend time here.
Went to see Peter Frampton. We were packed in the auditorium like sardines...ruined an excellent performance by him too. Guy spilled beer on me, stepping on my toes the half dozen times he needed another drink. Seating needs to change or I'll never see another show again there.
It was a sad day to be discriminated by one of my favorite casinos, I’ve had my sons birthday parties here and my family loves coming here just to get 86 tonight for false claims about me threatening someone who works there, which I have no idea who, i did not speak to anyone but my friends who bought a table at LEX. This is very disappointing and I did not even get 1 drink in or enjoy my concert, and they refused to give me my refund, even though I was only there for 5 minutes before they 86 me with a weird explanation and no evidence to support there claim.
Close to the airport and they do have a shuttle which is very convenient if flying. I didn't get offered a drink the whole time I was on the casino floor which I spent about 6 hours playing altogether. The rooms are luxurious and the view beautiful but I do question the mirrors and an outlet which may or may not contain some sort of surveillance devices...
