Good service. Good food. Enjoyable atmosphere.
I tried the crawfish beignets and a new years drink special. The beignets were good I ended up order some more for Togo.
Food was alright except for the Caesar salad. The menu didn't say it was a wedge salad and it had a burnt taste on top. Service was good but overall food was mediocre.
The poor review is for the person that refused to seat us at a table. Because we were only having drinks they would only let us sit at the bar, totally understandable if they had been busy but there were many empty tables. There were 5 of us, it was hard to have a conversation seated at the bar, we might have ordered a second round if we were at a table and more comfortable but as we were at the bar we didn't. Your loss Grand Isle! If your restaurant is close to empty and a group asks for a table to have drinks at why not just give it rather than be pig headed...
Loved the shrimp juju and crawfish beignets! Callie is an amazing server! She makes the experience phenomenal
All around amazing seafood, excellent service, and great atmosphere. I'd 100% go here again!
We moved to the West Bank in October and have eaten at many places recommended to us. This was the best so far, not that the others have been bad, this just exceeded our expectations. We aren’t oyster people so can’t comment on those but the crawfish beignets and shrimp and grits are top tier. The Rosemary Paloma was the best I’ve ever had and I’ve had MANY Paloma’s. Liam was our server and he was friendly without being invasive and stayed on top of all of our needs. The atmosphere is cozy and the vibes are fun. Highly recommend Grand Isle!
