Grand Floridian Cafe

As others have noted, the wait times are bad, even if you have reservations. The food is downright horrible; limp over-cooked fries, hard-boiled Benedicts, old arugula that was baked in heating lamps. Service was off as well, a real surprise at Disney. Didn't get drinks right, didn't check on the table (otherwise they would have learned about my Benedict!), long delays between touches. We are wondering if the recent re-opening of Park Faire has impacted everything going on here.

Nous avons étés très mal accueillis par Andrea qui nous a dit que le restaurant ne prenait pas les walk-in à 5:00 PM le restaurant venait juste d’ouvrir tout ça parce que nous étions cast member Disney. Heureusement que une autre hôtesse nous a dit que c’était possible c’est là que nous avons su que nous avons étés victime de discrimination. Denise nous regardait très mal aussi nous nous sentions vraiment pas a l’aise. Javier, notre serveur été très serviable avec ses clients mais lorsqu’il venait a notre table (il savait que nous étions cast member) il nous a pas adressé la parole quand il a su que nous prenions juste des oinions soup un dessert et une boisson. Je suis désolé mais il y a des façons de faire même si nous sommes cast member….

Horrible experience. 40 mins sitting at table and no food. Had to ask to get biscuits. People who sat down after 25 mins after us got their food. Left without getting our food after 45 mins. DONT WAISTE YOUR TIME EATING THERE. Can't understand how we could of pissed off the waitress and got snubbed without eating. Spoke to manager when leaving and got no explanation for what occured. They have my cell let's see if someone calls. So far nothing

Far below my expectations for an expensive restaurant at Walt Disney. Made a reservation for 7:40 and they were running very late, got seated at 8:10PM. Our waiter “Johnathan” acted very strange and seemed very nervous or upset about something. He tried to be nice I guess. We almost immediately ordered because we were starving. Food arrived an hour later with nobody even checking on us, waiter disappeared. The fireworks were nice. When food arrived they lost my wife’s dinner and 15 minutes later they found it. Really ridiculous at this point. My steak was well done, I ordered medium rare. My friend ordered medium rare and got rare. My wife’s shrimp pasta was late, missing and terrible taste. My friends wife ordered salmon, it was enough food for a two year old child and extra rice. Ridiculous. No steak knives delivered by waiter or straws. This was really a bad experience overall. Very disappointing Disney!! Never again Don’t waste your money here.

Pork Shank, Burger, Chicken outstanding! The service was great & and helpful, but when we asked for separate checks, unfortunely, there was an attitude. That was disappointing.

It's disappointingly loud. Food was acceptable, considering the price. The sound atmosphere was that of a very loud cafeteria, which detracted from an otherwise great meal. Staff was attentive, but unable to accommodate my sound adverse child in this unexpectedly noisy environment. Menu was limited, but everyone in our party enjoyed their selections. Very expensive, even by Disney standards.

Mediocre at best. So many better options at Disney.

We had a reservation for a weekend brunch, but were not guests at that resort. Arrived 30 minutes early and checked in. They mentioned they were running behind, but we assumed it wouldn't be too bad since we were so early. Wrong. 30 minutes after our reservation time, having still not been called, we canceled and left. We observed several (presumably) resort guests walk up without a reservation and get seated right away. So don't expect your reservation to be honored unless you are staying at the resort.
