Grains Fish Noodle crystal mall

Read the reviews and my friends raved about this place. I went there twice and tried different items because I wanted to like it but both times left disappointed. Although the broth was flavourful and rich; although there were lots of toppings options and; although the food was served very fast - none of us felt satiated! Depending on your choice, some of the soups tasted very salty. Even though we drank most of the broth - we felt bloated rather than satisfied and were hungry soon afterwards. This would be a good place for a quick, lighter meal, especially on a blustery day

Original noodles in the pork and fish soup was good but ... I notice though that there was less fish in the bowl than previous 2 times I have been there. Suggest that restaurant keeps up with the fish as previous, or will be loosing some customers.

完全沒有台灣味的台式香腸，比較像鹹火腿灌進香腸裡的味道，酸菜也跟台味掛不上鉤，像康師傅酸菜牛肉裡的味道，整體而言飯是軟的，好吃的，泰奶也不太泰式，味道小淡，但可以接受。

Follow good reviews to this spot, love the rich soup and not salty and don’t feel thirsty after finishing the whole bowl, thank you for the good food to warm up my stomach.

Like the majority of other 5 star reviews, I completely agree. Grains Fish Noodle serves a perfect bowl of delicious fish noodle soup that’s not too salty, healthy, delicious, hearty, and with such creaminess and depth of flavour. No complaints! Tried the original fish jaw soup and it was very tasty. All the flavours of their multigrain noodle soups I have tried are excellent.

Hidden Gem!

My friend took me to the Richmond restaurant location a year ago. The description (noodles in fish broth) does not sound amazing but I gave it a shot and was blown away by the excellent taste of the house special. I've since frequented this crystal mall location because Richmond is out of the way for me. The staff are very friendly and a few of them even recognize me for ordering somewhat frequently. The location is in crystal mall food court so the ambiance score really should not apply. I've had the noodles in the food court but usually I take out. They separate the noodles from the broth when taking out so the noodles hold quite well on the way home. The house special is a mix of pleasant creaminess and spice with excellent portions of lingcod and noodles. It's extremely satisfying, especially on rainy days. I should try their other offerings but the house special bowl of noodles in soup is just that damn good! Just like what all the Instagram influencers say: "I cannot recommend this place enough."
