Graffiti Pizza

First time customer, SO HAPPY I ordered! I just got the “Bus-jumper”, but… the mushrooms, the spinach, the garlic and the crust was lightly crispy and flavorful. Thanks for the treat! I’ll be ordering again, for sure.

We discovered graffiti pizza one night when we’re hanging out at a bar down the street and someone walked in with a whole pizza. We decided to go and try it for ourselves and ever since whenever we’re in Oakland is a must stop. It’s simple but flavorful pizza our go to is the classic, pepperoni. They also sell beer if you’re in the mood for it.

***third update*** 3/22/24 yep. The best pizza. When it ain't broke, don't change it! We get their Cesar salad regularly and they use anchovies in their dressing, which is how it's supposed to be. My companions loved the garlic knots, not too sloppy and not too heavy on the garlic either, because too much IS too much. We can't seem to deviate from their Old School and the Spraycation, two solid pizzas that seem to please our family of five. They have a medium-sized patio in the back with heaters for chilly nights; they were playing a great selection of older hip hop/ R&B, and the waterfall and tall tree in the back made for nice touches to an otherwise stark environment. Whether it's takeout or dine-in, we can't get enough of Graffiti! We're so lucky they decided on Oakland to open their establishment. We had **update** ordered on 6/11/22, yup. SILL the best pizza in the East Bay! The BEST pizza in the East Bay! We've ordered from them about 4 times now, trying several of their different styles. Their crust is that wonderful combo of crisp and chewy, the time they let their dough rest really shows. Their sauce is a perfect blend of just the right amount of tomato goodness without being overly acidic or garlicky which always detracts from the delicate flavor of the crust. Toppings are high quality and very proportional to the whole pie- each slice has an even distribution of ingredients. We indulged in two pizzas one night, the Old School and the Spraycation, their version of a Hawaiian. The slight smokiness from the ham came through on the Spraycation, and the Old School was a hearty pie with pepperoni, sausage, and mushrooms covering each cheesy slice yet not making it soggy. These guys have it DOWN. Great pizza takes time, so be patient and order ahead. This ain't Domino's so if you want fast and cheap, go elsewhere. Vegetarian options: It's pizza - of course it's vegetarian to begin with. No vegan/vegetarian meat substitutes.

Door dashed. Showed up warm enough. Damn fine pie. A little spendy but you can taste the love. Somebody knows their stuff and cares. Ratios are great. Ingredients taste quality. Bake is right. I’d do it again and again.

I didn't eat there, only picked up a pizza. It was extremely delicious, so much that I got another a few days later! Parking: Located near the police station, so it has parking meters.
