A great charity and good food! We try to come by on a regular basis.
A great little cafe with an amazing mission. The staff is friendly and down to earth. They make you feel very welcome. I first found this place on a road-trip and loved it. Now that I’m moving to the area I hope to frequent this spot.
A community cafe helping those with food insecurity. Bonus! It has great food.
1. EVERYBODY who was staffing was Amazeballs!
2. The food was wonderful and not run of the mill. I chose half a salad that was the special and soup. All were made from scratch and nutritionally sound. The portions are very good. I did not leave hungry.. Almost too stuffed from my unwillingness to leave the fresh bread with just the right sweet and texture for mopping up the soup bowl.
3. Parking wasn't hard at all. I parked on the street. There were also lot spaces available.
4. I can't give enough praise to the employees who I suspect are largely volunteer. They treated everyone like royalty.
5. The soup I had was a cheese/broccoli soup was so good I want to volunteer there so I can learn how to make it.
6. This is a wonderful place. There were racks of literature and references to various services people might need and appropriate assistance.
7. The menu is different than most places. They make one main recipe a day and a soup. There was one vegetarian meal and one that had meat and a soup when we went. The cost of the meal was "what you can pay" and they mean it. Whether you can pay or not you are treated the same way and boy is that way Lovely. My friend paid for us both and I left a donation. This is a worthy donation target for all who are curious. The atmosphere was so special. Plenty of space inside and a lovely outside seating area. They are being Covid-19 conscious and the staff along with everyone inside will be wearing masks.
I highly recommend this place for too many reasons to write. Hope to see you there one day. I know you will be smiling!
A casual homey ambiance with some tasty homemade food. An all for a good cause. What could be better? I went there with friends and we were able to relax and chat after eating and it felt like getting together at one of our houses.

A beautiful and quaint community cafe. As Melissa at the counter put it "we keep the menu simple so we can make the best possible meals for you".. it shows, as the meals are delicious. There are several tables for the outdoor seating, and twice that many indoors. Lots of windows for abundant natural lighting, and a decent amount of parking spots if you get here on a busier day. Enjoy supporting a real gem in this community. I'm sure that you'll be back.
