Staff was friendly and the food was delicious.
We were a group of ten people last Wednesday. We were placed in a small private room to the back. The server quickly took out drink and food orders (no liquor license yet...). It was a 45 minute wait for our food to arrive for 9 of us. Another 20 minutes for one of us. Delivery with an apology. Half of the group was satisfied with their dinner. Half very disappointed. Chimis were nicely meat filled but VERY dry. The server cleared half our plates then disappeared for 15 minutes and finally returned with our checks after one of our group chased her down. We all questioned the wisdom of opening prior to a liquor license. A few in the group knew about this as it was posted on their website. But no sign on the door for those unaware. Given that the restaurant was not terribly busy we were at a complete loss to understand why the service was so very bad. Any resteraunteur worth his salt would have made an appearance and comped the meal that took over an hour and offered a comp dessert for the entire group. None of us anticipate a return any time soon.
The salsa is thin and runny. Smallest portion of chips and salsa ever. The tostadas were a tortilla cup with chicken, lettuce and tomato no beans. The chili rellano was flat and brown, no filling. At first I didn’t realize that it was supposed to be a chili rellano. We will not be back. The cold breeze from the door opening was not pleasant.
Tried this place just an hour ago. I have NEVER had more tasteless Mexican food EVER. The refried beans were the ONLY thing that had any flavor. Not even any Cilantro. 10$+ for 3 melon size scoops of a smashed avacado ( nothing else) they called guacamole. Ya there sauce has some heat but it lacks ANY flavor. Will not go back even if they do get a liquor license! Parking: Can’t imagine parking ever being a problem since it’s terrible food.
Takes me back home! Silver City, NM. I loved the spice!
Very disappointed in the fajitas...$25 and hardly even one chicken breast in the serving...
