We’ve been to MANY boba places around the city, and this place has THE best tapioca (boba) around! The perfect texture and the teas are great tasting. Their drinks don’t have a lot of frills, but that’s how boba tea is truly meant to be.
really enjoyed their lemon iced tea and boba tea!!
Staff was really nice and helped suggest best flavor combos. I had the passion fruit tea with mango bursting boba. I love that you can do half sugar too. Very yummy! Cute interior too, especially for pics.
Long wait and an undrinkable tea. Avoid and find another tea spot as virtually anywhere is an upgrade.
Let me save you time and money. Run from this place before they steal your money. I paid $9 for an undrinkable boba tea ($8 tea price+ $1 tip). I requested a passion fruit with boba and got in return an ORANJE JUICE (Tropicana) tea with some weird powder. The lady at the counter refused to listen after I told her I saw her putting OJ in my tea and didn’t want to change my drink. Let me start by saying that I love tea. So much so that I make it a thing to go try different boba tea places in the city, and I have a strong understanding on how each tea should taste (keeping in mind their variations). This place is to AVOID completely. I went to Gosa tea on Saturday evening around 6:00 pm and asked for a passion fruit tea with boba. First of all it wasn’t busy (one person in front of me) but it took more than 10/15 minutes to get my tea ready (first red flag). Second, I saw the lady at the counter use orange juice and a weird powder in my cup and handed it over to me. Once I saw that, I knew my tea wasn’t passion fruit. The lady handed my tea and when I took a sip I knew it wasn’t passion fruit tea at all. It tasted like orange juice. Third, when I asked to have a different drink because what I was drinking was a $9 dollar orange juice the lady lied saying she didn’t use orange juice (second red flag) so when I told her I saw her adding OJ to my drink, she lied again (third red flag) saying that it required just a little bit of orange juice in the recipe. I told her this was untrue and I requested a different drink which she refused. I didn’t want to be a Karen so I told her she shouldn’t lie to her costumers and use cheap orange juice (Tropicana) and powder mix to match flavors and lie to her costumers and left. I left very frustrated with my undrinkable tea because I just throw $9. I should’ve been more persistent but the lady wasn’t listening to me and kept lying. I went to my friends house and made my two friends try it (without mentioning the situation) and they both guessed it was some type of orange juice tea like a punch fruit but only OJ. I then proceeded to explained the event just happened and they agreed with me, it didn’t taste like passion fruit at all. They didn’t even like it so it went straight to the trash. I write all this to share my story and save you money, so go somewhere else! There are some really good places around so you do have options. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!
Really tasty tea and boba!
Tapioca pearls here are actually fresh and chewy, unlike most places. Might be most legitimate bubble milk tea you can get in Chicago.
Worker was rude and wanted to go back and forth with my teen child about what she ordered, which I was standing there when she placed her order and charged her extra after his mistake.
First time getting boba tea. The worker was helpful in explaining the menu and boba options. Ended up getting a ocean milk tea and liked it a lot!
