Good Word Brewing & Public House

I visited Good Word Brewing & Public House after seeing a lot of good press about them online from fellow Georgians. Needless to say, I was not disappointed. All the beers I had were top notch (not all beers consumed have a photo added), and they serve the beer in a glass that matches the style. The barrel-aged strong ale ‘Fun Times In Babylon’ was one of the best strong ales I’ve had in a long time. It packs a punch at 11.3%, but you’d never know with how smooth it tastes. The food was also great and tasted very fresh. The building itself has a lot of character and a very cool vibe. Also, the brewtender was friendly and very attentive. The one downside was that two IPAs were tapped out upon my visit. Overall, it’s a great place that’s definitely worth checking out. Parking: I visited during the peak lunch hour and had difficulty finding parking in the free lot that not only serves Good Word but other local businesses around it. It took about 5 minutes to get a spot, but there was plenty of parking in the same lot by the time I left. It’s all variable based on the time of day you visit.

Nice place, first time there. My BF found it looking at the reviews.... I can tell we spent very nice time there, staff and atmosphere is great! Food delicious.

Absolutely fantastic. Only a few things on the menu were north of 5 percent and the food was great, so this place was made for a session. Tried almost everything. Got wings, boiled peanuts, and the banana pudding. I'll definitely be back.

One picture speak louder and more than a thousand words right? So here is the picture… the excuse they gave us was that they just put some bug’s bomb around… why they have to put those bug’s bomb in the first place? Won’t ever come back to this place, STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE

Came to Good Word Brewing because all other Breweries close at either 7pm or 8pm on a Sunday. Beers we tried were good. But they did not have hefeweizen, Belgian, nor sour beers available. We did not try the food but it did look very good when they would bring it out for others.
