Good Times Burgers & Frozen Custard

I love the chorizo burritos.

$21 for a decent burger gross fries a soda and a very poor shake.

I should say normally we love it - this time was disappointing because we arrived at 10:23. We were headed back home & our 4 hour drive was in front of us. My husband is having cancer treatment at University hospital, and just wanted one of their Oregon Blackberry shakes. The lady on the intercom said she couldn't do those until 10:30. Of course then we could not get out of the curbed-in drive thru ... by the time we waited for the cars in front of us to be thru it was 10:29 when we reached the window.... where my husband said to just drive thru. Sometimes small things are important to people ... would it have really been so hard to do?

Got food poisoning from the sliders here. Eat frequently at the location on South Broadway, so believe it was probably a food handling rather than food quality issue

I go to this Goodtimes about once every couple of months. I love wold spuds and the hatch green chili fries. I needed a quick dinner last night after some Christmas shopping so I decided to grab a chicken sandwich. Prices are up everywhere so it's already enough to pay $13 for a single meal for a chicken sandwich and fries. I was presented with a payment pad last night asking what tip I wanted to give? Since when is it the customer's job to pay the employees? Tip for what? No one was overly kind, I got snotty attitudes when I asked about it with an abrupt closure of the window. I wont be back either way. I decline to tip, and I could have spit in my food. Disappointing and repulsive.

It’s so sad to see. This was always a staple for me but to get sneered at because I didn’t tip is not ok. Tip for what? Taking my order? I get the food industry doesn’t want to pay their people and probably use the “tipped employee “ exemptions. I guess this is more towards the stores instead of the workers. It’ll cost you customers instead of a few bucks.

If you're in Colorado and you've never been to a Good Times, eat here... From the hamburgers to the real lemonade, average junk fast food doesn't hold a candle to this... Will be eating here again in another week when I visit Denver to see Guns N Roses.*
