Ishanghai Delight

I love Shanghainese food but unfortunately we didn’t get a good experience here. The service was very slow, the utensils are not clean, and the food was overpriced. Would not come back

The food is ok, not too salty but a bit oily. The dining experience is very bad. They forgot one of the dumplings I ordered, didn’t serve it until we finished. So I asked them to remove it for us if it’s not cooked yet. The waitress said it must been cooked. When she double checked with her colleagues and find out it wasn’t cooked it, she yelled at the kitchen asking them to make the order and told me it will only be 2 mins. Then it took 10 mins for the dumplings to be served. And the same dish was served first to others who ordered later than us. What a shame.

Service was good, they were very nice and food was great as well. Highly recommended

Ishanghai delight is our favorite Shanghainese place in Bay Area, we are so happy they opened a store in this area. We always order xiaolongbao, pan fried buns, and the soup. Their xiaolongbao is the best, great wrap, flavorful filling and a lot of soup inside (almost a spoonful), even the pan fried bun has soup inside.

Authentic modern style Shanghai food. Definitely recommend their big dumpling with crab.

This is my worst experience at the restaurant so far. First, the food is terrible. It is totally different from what we have before, I don't know what happened to them but it's taste bad. The lettuce should be cooked before serving, it is the traditional way to cook that, but they don't, they just put some sauce in the raw lettuce. For the fried rice cake, the flavor is plain, not cooked well, the color is bad as well. At the same time, the size of food is decreased sharply. I ordered an fried rice as well, before, the rice could served for 2-3 people, now it's not enough for one person, so I don't even have the mood taking picture of it. Secondly, the service is terrible, I don't like it. The servants never smile.

Only one server with over 15 tables, wait for a long time and no service at all. The crab meat in the noodle tossed crab roe noticeably reduced to less than a fifth of its previous quantity, however, with the same price. Pan fried pork bun are completely taken out of the freezer, not freshly made.

環境舒適，服務人員也會固定回來巡視加水。白斬雞鮮嫩多汁、外皮Q彈。小籠包、煎包也是多汁、要趁熱吃。炒飯普通。 整體來說很推薦…
