Crab was a bit smaller than we were were expecting, one person in our 6 top had a steak...rest seafood We didn't get a table side salad prepared in front of us Our app was pretty delish One guest said lobster was best she ever had Which there was a way to give 4.5 stars because that's what our experience was...our server was a bit snarky after app showed up Rarely checking back...but other than that... fantastic meal!

Nestled in the heart of vintage Las Vegas, the Golden Steer Steakhouse is a true testament to the city's glamorous past. From the moment you step through its doors, you're transported to a bygone era of elegance and sophistication. One of the most striking aspects of the Golden Steer is its unwavering commitment to impeccable service. From the friendly greetings at the door to the attentive waitstaff who cater to your every need, it's clear that hospitality is at the forefront of their mission. But what truly sets the Golden Steer apart is its exceptional cuisine. The menu boasts an array of classic steakhouse offerings, from perfectly aged steaks to sumptuous seafood selections. Each dish is crafted with care and precision, ensuring a dining experience that's nothing short of extraordinary. The tableside Caesar Salad was wonderful. One of the highlights of our visit was the opportunity to dine in Dean Martin's booth. Sitting in the same spot where the legendary entertainer once enjoyed his meals added an extra layer of nostalgia to an already unforgettable evening. For those who appreciate the charm and allure of old Las Vegas, the Golden Steer is an absolute must-visit. Whether you're a seasoned local or a first-time visitor, this iconic establishment offers a glimpse into a glamorous era that's not to be missed. Needless to say, we'll be eagerly anticipating our next visit to the Golden Steer. From the moment we left, we were already planning our return, eager to relive the magic of this timeless gem. PS: The chocolate cake should be illegal!!!

Over $500 for two people ? Giving only 3 stars due to their pricing, we have been to better places in Vegas for 1/3 of the price. They are very non transparent with their pricing and charge you for every little thing, $5 for garlic butter on your steak? A lot of their items are market price, because they know you won't ask how much.

My party and I had a reservation for 8 pm, we waited almost 45 min. beyond the reservation time for our table and we checked in10 min. prior to our reservation. We stopped by the bar and ordered drinks while waiting, although the drinks were well made, the price was well above what I would expect to pay for a craft cocktail. Once we were seated, we were less than impressed with the lack of attention from the service team, as some members were not as enthusiastic as some of the others. I would say that there were a total of 3-4 service team members attending to our table. David, our main server was polite, yet very rushed, Ali, whom prepared our Cesar Salad, which was quick good, was probably the most pleasant. I feel a bit bamboozled to have found out that we were charged 10$ each for 2 separate baskets of bread rolls. My wife and I ordered the dinner for 2, with the longhorn steak and lobster tail, which wasn’t bad, yet not prepared to the desired/requested medium. The lobster tail was overcooked as well. The asparagus and burgundy mushrooms were pleasant. A second lobster tail was added to the order as they looked smaller than what is being advertised, and had the Mrkt price been made available, I would have foregone the second tail as it was overpriced for the quality. My friends, (husband and wife team) were also unimpressed by the food and as we discussed everything, we were unfortunately all unimpressed. We paid close to 1000.00 for the entire meal, to include the tip. We resolved that we only paid for the experience. Traveled from New Mexico and had made our reservation back in October of 2023, our friends had gotten married earlier in the day and it was meant to be a great experience, but we we definitely oversold ourselves on what we were to expect. Also, the parking was less than what you would expect for such a highly rated establishment. Parking: The building shares a parking lot with a few other businesses in a strip mall setup. Very few parking spots that aren’t utilized solely for other businesses as well. There is a pawn shop that shares a larger portion of the parking lot, but will not allow non-patrons to utilize those spots.

We dined here on 1/16/2024 The Market Price Lobster $95.00 Make Reservations⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Golden Steer and I must say, it was an absolutely delightful experience. From start to finish, everything was top-notch. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, perfect for a special night out or a celebration. The service was exceptional; the staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. They were attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu, making great recommendations that complemented our meal perfectly. And speaking of the meal, it was simply outstanding. The Golden Steer truly knows how to prepare a perfect steak. Every bite was tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. The side dishes and desserts were equally delicious, showcasing the culinary expertise of the chefs. Not only was the food amazing, but the presentation was also impeccable. Each dish was beautifully plated, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. Overall, The Golden Steer exceeded my expectations in every way. It's clear that they take pride in their food and service, and it definitely shows. I highly recommend this establishment to anyone looking for an unforgettable dining experience. Five stars all the way!
