Golden Plate II

Lovely family owned restaurant! They were kind and quick with our take out order and the food was delicious. The restaurant is tucked away off Kipling so it is not super visible on main roads, so please take a quick 1-2 minute detour off Kipling and give this awesome family your business!

Eh, average all the way around. Not bad, but not great, either. Would i eat here again? Maybe 8f I'm really hungry, but probably not.

Best Asian food in Lakewood. Wonton soup full of fresh veggies and the salt peppered garlic shrimp is really good. Owners are a super nice couple.

Update: Here are the current hours. (See photo) This place is wonderful!! We had lunch here on Sunday and it was completely empty. At first, we thought that might be a bad sign, but I’m so glad we stayed. The crab cheese wontons, egg drop soup and sesame shrimp beat everywhere else. Very fresh tasting and I could tell they made the crab cheese wontons on site. Great service, too! I highly recommend this place.

Delicious hot and sour soup, and I love that the salted pepper shrimp is very lightly breaded. Friendly service, reasonable prices, and free parking. I do wish some of the dishes had more vegetables though, like the salted pepper shrimp and pad Thai. See photos for business hours posted on the door.
